No link, there, can't stick a file on your f/b or Twatter a/c. Won't attach, either (unsupported file extension). Bugger. Ho hum. You know full well who this is...

Would do, but am having difficulty in finding resources section...

brake switch for hydraulic brakes
Old thread, but still valid. My take on this was to 3D print brackets, using a cheap PRC N.O. push to make switch.

Woosh Bali
Just seen these posts. Update on my Bali. All good, and still enjoying it tremendously, am a serious Woosh convert! Seems my link wasn't in that last post of mine, so I'll try again, here...http://www.skysurfer.uk/wordpress/?page_id=389. Thanks to Jim & Andy at the shop.

Breaking/project, Giant Revive, electric & non.
All sorts. One almost complete pedal version. The pedal frame was obtained a couple of years ago,, and been fitted with a cheap Tesco kid's bike fittings, but it works fine. Needs a backrest to finish. One electric bike in bits. The electric frame has two wheels, but no forks (they're different to the non electric version). All in all, lots to go at, the motor is the Panasonic with torque sensor, but no controller. I just want the lot gone, so any offers would be probably accepted. Would be a great project. Some images attached, but the pedal version is a lot better than these images show. South Manchester, viewing welcomed. More details on request.

Woosh Bali
I've done around 800 miles on mine, & I love it so much, my other bikes are going. My full review is here, at least for now.

Handle bar problem
trex, thanks for your replies on this thread. I've just bought a Bali, and suffered the same slack stem. Same click, too. Stem: Fixed, thanks to this thread. Click: I'm sure it's the 'gearbox' engaging, bit off putting initially, but only as weird as when still, backpedalling and the chain doesn't move! So far, a really nice bike, no whinges.

Giant Spirit/Revive e-bike build.
Haar! Y'all know what coming next... Yup. identifying the wires. I have the looms that exit the motor, but no control gear. Rooting through t'interweb to buy the original controllers isn't really an option, it's more than a bit cost prohibitive. But. I'm sure that with correct ID on the looms, something could be made to work. I'm more interested in the PAS to drive the motor, I find that's just so much cleaner on the handlebars. I'm trying to drop this into my spare Revive frame, it looks like a reasonable fit could be made. Eventually... These are rare & nice machines, as the motor is almost new, it would be a shame to leave it on the shelf... I'm still trawling the web just in case anything turns up... If anyone is interested in these machines, I have a spare Spirit frame (no forks, frame only, and a few other bits) I can donate for cost of postage if anyone needs one. An aside... Spirit forks don't fit the Revive. I found out too late! Ha! Attached images: My (bought earlier in the year) new Revive, ant the motor I'm trying to use. Thanks, all, enjoy the weather!

Giant Spirit/Revive e-bike build.
d8veh, thanks for your post. Not too sure, I was hoping that the output from the controller would be just a variable voltage, as the motor, although apparently brushless, seems to have the controlling circuit built in to the casing that mounts the drive to the bike, with only two thick wires exiting. So I'm thinking all it needs is a variable voltage power supply. I can't find a lot of tech info on this system, just external images of the unit itself. I understand that it seems a bit odd, but without any actual circuits diagrams available, and it not being too important to me, I thought this might be a way to go. I could just drop a supply through a pot to see if it moves...I've no idea how to drive a brushless with two wires, is all. I'll keep looking before I try anything that might let the smoke out, though. Cheers.

Bargain buy - Parts
I'm looking for a 24v 250w controller for brushed motors with PAS.

Giant Spirit/Revive e-bike build.
Hi, folks. I've a few bits of said machine, notably the Panasonic brushless motor I'm going to hopefully run. I'm having difficulty in sourcing a suitable controller. It has TWO thick power wires, red & black. I'm assuming the electronics are in the ally case to actually drive the motor, as it also has a torque sensor in there, somewhere. I'm looking for a 24v 250w brushed motor controller from China to start (cheap), then if all goes well, I might spend on a quality item, later. It must have a PAS circuit in it. Anyone got a link? All I can find brushed don't have a PAS connection... (Chinglish ain't easy... Dureilleur is 'throttle'!) Cheers, & TIA,

Case studies - how has your electric bike changed your life?
I had an accident that left my feet & legs at less than optimum. I now suffer from advanced, chronic arthritis in my left foot. I walked into Decathlon to buy a low-end 'mountain' bike, and came out with their last e-bike, an elops hybrid, with front drive. It was the display model, & I managed to 'bully' them into a really great price. The pedelec system is superb, once the system is switched on, there's nothing else to do, just pedal. This machine is still giving sterling service, even though I've been using an ordinary 'manual' bike for this last year. The extra exercise I get keeps me going, as I'm an old git. The feeling of being 'towed by a rope' is quite unique to e-bikes, and encouraged me to travel further & further afield, eventually doing so on my 'manual' Raleigh Pioneer. I have just (I think) fixed what might be a bad connection on my elops, and am just about to put it to the test... It's mad hot in Manchester at the mo, so if the electrics fall over, I might have a sweaty afternoon of getting home using leg power alone... Without electrons to assist, it's a bloody heavy beast, but only compared to the average machine, it's not stupidly heavy. All in all, an e-bike got me back into cycling. Recommended to all those who are just thinking of buying one, possibly due to ill health, and are not wanting to use a buggy, yet. Just do it, you won't regret it.

Just happened across this but can't comment on its accuracy
