Hi thanks for the replies, i wanted to remove it as the charger broke but i got a new charger off amazon, which seemed ok for a week ,but now the charger is flashing red after couple of hours, i`ve tried to find out what that means but no ones answering.... its this charger https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B4NMQQNN/ i have another charger also https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08DFTP2F8 higher amp version, i plugged it into the battery 3 times and each time there was a small spark, its not plugged into the mains, that does not seem good to me, I think i need to remove the battery and replace it, but that leaves me with the same problem to remove the battery , and yes I did push the lock in, makes no difference Stuart p.s the batteries 5 yrs old !

thanks for the replies, ye i`m sure its the right key lol, i found a duplicate one too, still wont work arg.I`ll take it to the bike shop tomorrow , maybe wont be too busy, they deal with ebikes.

Hi, i`m trying to remove an ebike battery from a frame,its locked to the frame with a key, but the key just wont turn, i sprayed a bit of wd40 on the key ,still wont turn, anyone had this problem? i havnt used the key for a year i`d gues, Stuart

Hi , I have a problem with an ebike kit I bought a couple of years off ebay, the throttle wont stop sometimes when I let it go, I tried to change it for another throttle, for 20 mins it was fine, then the problem started again,I changed back to the old throttle and the same thing happened, 20 mins it was fine, then it started malfunctioning again, my guess is its the controller, but I wanted to know others thoughts on it? I may just try a different controller see how it goes regards Stuart

Hey, I`m converting a carrera vulcan 20" frame 27.5 wheels, the ebike back wheel fitted in easily into the dropouts, however when I tighten the wheel with the nuts, it almost wont move,if i loosen the nuts the wheel becomes free and rotates again...... any ideas please? I had one washer on the inside of the chainring side of the wheel,i also tried it with zero washers on the insides, no differance, Stu

Hey, I`m thinking of converting an old rockrider 6.3 the battery wont fit in the frame though,i found a couple of photos of batteries installed upside down, like the photo below,has anyone tried this? The only thing i can think of is installing some rivet nuts underneath and using straps to hold it in place..... any other ideas? i dont want to have to make holes in the frame.... my battery is a downtube 48v it has a bracket to fit to the water bottle holes/rivets...... Hi, I need a bottom bracket for a wisper 905 se, 2008, 174mm , someone suggestead halfords but i dont see it there, and wisper dont have it, regards, Stuart

thanks for your replies..... I got a new chainring, with pedal arms for £30 from wisper, they actually had it, to my surprise.... its better now and the chains staying on, but its not rotating properly, doesnt seem loose but i`ll upload some videos...excuse the crude vids it was awkward to do ......... hope someone can diagnose this, i`m guesing it needs a new bottom bracket wisper said its 174 mm, but i cant find one.... regards. hmm i have a 1000 wat from another sellers, it got me to 29mph on throttle , but overheated a bit , i`m 16 stone....so that was quite an achievement lol L3 how do you find cyclotricity? i was thinking of orderinga 1000w kit off them
