    Just received a Bafang SWXH 36v, 250w.

I thikn I will be fine with the watt meter.. but maybe i should consider a buzzering meter. But with the bm6, you are only monitoring 1 pack (severals cells) ? or does it monitor the complete battery in series/parallel ? edit: Btw, the Bm6 get extremely lousy reviews on hobbyking...

I've been trying to contact bmsbattery.com about the faulty battery. They dont answer me on mail. I have 2 of them on skype aswell and even though they are online they dont answer any calls/chats. Its a warning to others who intend to order from them. I bought a HobbyKing hk-010 watt...

    Just received a Bafang SWXH 36v, 250w.

It could be that its not been fully charged. I honestly dont understand that chinese charger i received with the kit. The charger has 2 LEDs on it. when i plug it in the wall the left LED is green and the right one is red (this right LED is constantly red, never changes color or go off while...

I have a weird problem with the bike. I charged the battery like a week a ago. And yesterday I took the bike for a trip, After about 2km of full power the green light on my 3-led thumb throttle turned off. and after about 1 km more, the bike completely lost power. None of the leds on the...

    Chinese LiFePo4 battery concerns

You should be really careful with lipos. If you poke a hole in the foil, the battery will burn/explode. Search for "Lipo fire" on youtube and you'll see what i'm talking about. I cant even imagine what would happen to that big pack of lipos you got, if you would to damage it. Also, never ever...

    Just received a Bafang SWXH 36v, 250w.

Update: rode with the same uncharged battery for 35min at mostly full speed, mostly uphill. So I guess it was the extreme cold affecting the battery. But I feel that I have to invest in a watt meter.

    Just received a Bafang SWXH 36v, 250w.

This is probably the reason. I assumed that the battery was charged when i recieved it (measuring 39.9v) but i guess it wasnt charged. Sunday evening i charged the battery full, and i measured the voltage right after the charge, it was at 42.0v. Yesterday, before i went for another test trip i...

No but my test ride was without pedal sensor. Only a thumb throttle, controller, motor, battery. And i'm certain i didnt open the throttle due to pedaling. It was like a "skipping" feeling. Maybe i'm just getting it wrong, bear with me. :) I just get the impression from what you write...

Great pointer! Thanks. I took the bike for my first test ride today. quite a heavy wind and -18 celsius. Pff. I was just out for 10 minutes or so, couldnt stand more. I tried quite a steep hill and experienced some weird behavior. Or maybe its not weird..? It was like pulses. Like 2-3...

That cycle analyst is really ridicoulsly expensive. I do some RC as well. those watt meters by turnigy or hobbyking cost like $20. I agree that cycle analyst have some functions that the other ones dont have. but hey, its the same hardware. I guess i did set it up correctly. it just looked...

Thanks for all the answers guys! The circuit i've made is as if it was to "switched on". That was what i was wondering. because i see that the battery has a "charge setting" in the "key ignition". Thanks Its the bms controller "KU63 - 6Mosfet". I guess its 36v/250w Didnt know about...

First of all, Hi everybody, this is my first post. I've been lurking around this forum for quite a while and reading other threads. There is alot of helpful information posted by people here. I decided to go for a Bafang (8fun) qswxh motor and an aluminium alloy 12aH, 36v battery. And i...
