To Mapman: Purchased kit in January 2009 (had it professionally fitted to be honest) - get 17-18mph de-restricted and I weight circa 19.5 stones !! Really impressed with the power of the 250watt motor/battery combination. The front hub motor looks particularly attractive.

I purchased the 36V Alien kit & put it onto a half decent mountain bike - works great & no issues.

I have had the 36V 10Ah Alien kit fitting since January this year - cant recommend it highly enough (especially when using it in Off Road mode - much better) !

Thanks Flecc & all - the Raleigh High Rise bars look like something I would be interested in if problem not solved by adjusting heights of bar/seat etc.
