None of the trike manufacturers recommend fitting a middle and battery on the front boom , apart from putting a lot of weight in front of the wheels ( modifying the handling ) it will put a lot of extra strain on the joint.

Next project will be fitting a second chainwheel to the unit. The 42 t chainwheel to the 9-32t cassette gives high enough gears but the mountains in this area needs a bit lower gears so hoping to fit a 30t inner ring. regards Emma
