Calibrating The Torque Sensor On A TSDZ2 in simple English

Unless you changed the motor settings the sensor self calibrates every time you power on if standard just power up do not touch the pedals for 20-30 seconds

    26" fat tyre 300w+ e-bike

Do you need a fat bike or just want one ? after building a few, my observations do not get one with a steel frame as they are 35kg plus before the motor and battery are fitted. If you want a legal rear hub motor ready built bike buy from woosh in Southend if they have any stock left The...

    D-I-Y Great Nick Andrews Trike(GNAT)

The mid drive will not work without serious modification to much material around the bb. The motor will foul and unless you cut a normal bb off a frame and bond it so its sticking out a secondary chain drive motor or rear hub is the way to go

    D-I-Y Great Nick Andrews Trike(GNAT)

The lack of protrusion might be a good point the motor will just be at an angle, my concern is will it fit without catching the frame look forward to the pics

    D-I-Y Great Nick Andrews Trike(GNAT)

Please can you show a clearer picture of the bottom bracket and pedal area showing the width and depth of material etc From what i can make out do not think a mid drive will fit ,looks like to much material around the bb so the motor might foul on the frame

    Making mid drive, help required.

The bbs01 is made to suppliers spec and stickered accordingly it depends what company you buy it from, only had one from a uk supplier that would not play even seen a bbs02 with a 250w sticker in the box [the problem is you do not know what you have purchased until you try to flash it...

    Making mid drive, help required.

The bafang is a great unit the 250watt is 15 amps the 350watt is 18 amps out of the box. Both can be reprogramed to 20 amp max [but did get one motor that would not flash /upgrade multiple factory /importers all request a different basic set up So not a lot in it both are the same motor but...

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

When first looked i thought the pack was not looking right but as it had worked it must of been ok, is it a joint bad weld on the tin strips But how you can power 2000watts fully enclosed it must be a cross between a toaster or a microwave the heat must be extreme can you try just one...

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

Did the motors ever get hot, is it two controllers on one throttle, any water damage to the battery pack are the wires damaged as they go into the wheel s

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

Thats a different proposition to a bike motor, never seen a 1000w motor in a tiny wheel let alone 2 motors

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

The volts drop to zero ? then the bms cannot cope with the load and is cutting out/or overloaded and has damaged or another possibility is a joint/ weld is going open circuit in the pack To much current required for battery battery pack to supply one 1000w motor would stress it two have...

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

If the sticker is correct it should be 9 cells in parallel and 14 in series total 126 cells Only 7 cells will lower the total capacity and only 98 cells can you show a pic of the battery pcb suspect the battery or the bms is cooked, can you do a voltage check under load

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

Can you try just one motor at a time? this will reduce the demand on the battery What bms is fitted in the battery and what type make are the cells

    TSDZ2 chain ring size 52t

Changed the chainring on the last tsdz2 build to a 52 t on the fat bike today the top end has increased by 6 mph, noticed only a very little lag in getting up there it just required slightly longer in each gear .As it only a 7 speed and a 13-32 this was the best option other than replace...

Help! Bottom bracket nut loosening on Tongsheng TSDZ2

Just tried the nut goes on the reverse way so the thread is the same . a bafang lock nut wil go on if you file the back off just leave the thread but it would end up very thin [ not worth all the aggro] Changed both main nut and lock nut from a new bafang build. Fits ok on a tsdz2 fat bike...
