    Approved ebike list?

Maybe we should just accept that 95% of ebikes are illegal (throttle / assist past 15.5 mph / questionable 200/250w rating) and try not to draw attention to ourselves. If we get st*ffed it will be because someone with a 1000w bike is involved in a fatal accident and it's picked up by the media.

    What's your protection against cold?

Silk balaclava under the helmet. I am OK as long as my ears don't get too cold.

    Approved ebike list?

Is there a definition of the period defined as "continuous", obviously from the graph above there are periods ~ albeit very short ~ where the power is continuously above 250w.

    Beeb news website yesterday

I noticed that all the test rides were in a straight line. Whilst the use of gyros to maintain it upright is relatively straightforward the stability of a turning bike is more complex. The required angle of lean ~ assuming that it will do ~ during turning is going to be a function of speed...

How much you knew about the E-bike batteries ?

Re the banner ads, for various reasons many people use ad block software and may not have seen the banner (and those that have seen them may have automatically mentally filtered them out). Which is why it helps if people identify themselves with their post ~ as per Wisper etc.)

    Spot the difference...

The industry needs to standardise on a single, or at least a minimum number of battery configurations rather than tying a buyer down to an OEM supplier. I mean even the mobile phone makers have at least managed to agree on a charging socket. Much as I love my Wisper its non interchangeable...
