    Best mountain bikes for family.

I've found a child friendly way to tow is to use a retractable dog lead on the seatpost. With a loop of bungee cord tied on the end. That loops over the stem. And pops off easily if there's an issue. I tow my 10 year old through muddy fields and up hills.

    The new best headlight

I know it's an old thread but I used it to get info. Thanks to Daveh and all others that recommended the cree light. I've been putting up with a little 5 quid led rubber thing. Just used the cree. It seems to light up half the woods. Thanks as usual guys.

    Advice on bike purchase

Sorry all. That's interesting and good to know. But my question was more about the legal cut out. On my oxygen you can enter in the LCD that you have smaller wheels so it doesn't read the speed correctly so therefore doesn't cutout at about 16.

    Walk mode.

Yes . I didn't either . But if I was a real mountain biker maybe I would. However I'm not and there were just too many restrictions. I like that my bike can easily go up in to the 20mph range with a touch of a button.I like the thumb throttle for use as and when. And I like my motor being...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Hi mate, tourers do it all the time. I couldn't fit one anywhere else so i just googled where to fit cycle water bottles, and the guys that cycle 100s of miles all over the country have about 4 bottles and two are on the forks. If I was having a day on the trails it would probably go in the...

    Hello from UK/China

Yes. I did think that. But if you find the factory they will sell you one. I've got friends that buy fishing tackle wholesale from China. The same factory that makes the stuff for big players like nash or JRC will sell you exactly the same with no logo. I bet there's plenty of locals riding...

    Hello from UK/China

I'm probably not the only one thinking that if you go for a chinese built bike its a bit like a kid in a sweetie shop. But presumably you want to do some proper mountain biking.

    Crank or Rear Hub?

Ithought it would be easier as you get a new back wheel with it in place.
