    My Torq Story

Sorry to hear all that, but I guess you can't please all the people all of the time, whatever the product! The Torq has been very well, often ecstatically, received by the overwhelming majority of owners. There have been and will be significant improvements to come, as with anything at the...

It looks like 50cycles will be turning up with some bikes on Sunday, accompanied by James and Jim who will be happy to help and answer any questions. Tim

    Broken spokes

My own Torq suffered a couple of broken spokes soon after fitting Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres front and rear. My theory is that thin tyres give the rim and spokes a much harder ride that exacerbates any problems.

New Forza is the real deal.

Hi Stuart, no, it is continuously variable between 0 and 8.4. No warp speed 9 unfortunately. It's a pedelec cruise control system.

Ezee Forte - not so sure after A-to-B review

Forte in the field Hi I only skim-read the A to B review of the Forte, but I then went on to use one, and a Cadence, throughout the Glastonbury festival. I've also used one around London for the past month or so, maybe longer. It's the best eZee bike ever, whether zipping around town or up to...

News: New Forest Electric Bike Rally

I think it was one of the best events we've been to for atmosphere, size and last but not least.... weather. The Forte is my new favourite, by the way. Runs me to the shops over Holland Park hill (who put that there?) with tremendous ease. Not sure either Scott or myself can make it to New...

    Rattling front mudguard Sprint 7

Here's a wheel builder at the eZee factory. He's been with the firm for years, since it opened as far as I know, and I found him quietly focussed on preparing and truing wheels whenever I took a random walk around the factory.

    Buying First Electric Bike

I can assure you it's cock-up rather than conspiracy. And there isn't really any small print on that page. I will make the terms clearer if need be, or offer another battery warranty extension. We find that if a battery goes wrong it usually does so within a couple of months or not at all. Maybe...

New bikes from eZee / 50Cycles

Yes, the new Forza and Forte did very well. In fact along with the Torq, eZee bikes took the first three places in the hour-long electric bike rally around the new course. This was extremely wet weather and everyone got around safely, which is a testament to the advantages of electric bikes in...

    A Wet day in Wales

The Forte was in fact first to the top of the hill, followed closely by a Forza if memory serves. The Torq actually managed to make up all the lost ground on the final 1/4 mile or so downhill to the finish line, expertly raced by Ian Johnson who went on to take first place in the electric bike...

    New York Times covers ebikes

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/06/business/yourmoney/06bikes.html?_r=1&ref=business&oref=slogin This is great news - electric bikes are winning coverage in the US. When will the UK mainstream press pick up on this?

New bikes from eZee / 50Cycles

Update F-series weight Tests have revealed that the F-series bikes weigh in at a mere 26.3kg with the Li power pack, not 29.4kg!! My mistake. I have updated the specs page accordingly. Tim 50cycles
