What a wonderful day - Route 21/20 ride - Brighton by Battery

Back from a holiday on the 4th - not sure that i'll be given permission to take off again the same day! I know that end of Suffolk fairly well, really want to do it at least once - probably the first year I can get there and back on a single charge ;)

What a wonderful day - Route 21/20 ride - Brighton by Battery

Anyone ever done the Dunwich Dynamo on an electric? I think that's a good 60 miles, maybe more, through the night from East London all the way to the coast.

    Much needed advice please!

The Kalkhoff Agattu XXL is specially designed for larger riders - reinforced frame, rims and a more firmly sprung seatpost. The XXL tag is a bit of a red herring as they come in the usual frame sizes 45cm, 49cm, 53cm and 57cm, all step through. Pretty much indestructible and the only example...

My final word on Pro Connect wheels

I assume this was offered from the start, it's the obvious solution, one we have used before on various hub-geared models over the years, involving minimal cost and inconvenience for all involved. Proof as if it were needed that a public forum is often not the best arena to fix technical...

What a wonderful day - Route 21/20 ride - Brighton by Battery

Excellent report! It sounds a bit dicey and noisy at the end, but I really must cycle to Brigton myself one day. Maybe a 50cycles outing later this Summer. Tim

    Help..frame Size Confusion.

Hi Ian, there's a sizing guideline table on the Pro Connect spec page For anyone buying an Agattu, we usually recommend adding an inch or two to the minimum height if the sprung seatpost is used. In any case, it's a guideline as we all have different length legs and arms, so there will...

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

Hi Dynamic Position - check your email, you're now a member of the forum! Maximum assist speed of 20kph refers to the throttle operation I believe. Have you spotted the built-in lights either side of the cycle computer? We were delighted that these turned up on the production model. TNT are...

Front Child Seats – Bobike Mini and OK Baby Orion – Kalkhoff Tasman and Pro Connect

Very, very useful. I may well be referring to this page if the missus gives permission to take my son out later this Summer. As she's not a cyclist though, the uphill struggle is going to be trying to convince her that our little one will be OK perched up there.

Kalkoff Agattu vs. Tasman vs. Pro Connect

It's funny, some people have no problem with the ride quality of the Pro Connect and express surprise that other people find it too hard. However, we sometimes send out Pro Connects with a sprung seat-post if requested at the time of order. I occasionally use one when I know I'll be doing a...

    West Midland - Dealers?

Nearly - they're Casco E.motion helmets (note the all important and distinctive '.') - and they're specifically designed for pedelec riders. I'm not sure what makes them uniquely suited to riding a pedelec bike, but they are very smart, well-made, ventilated and stylish. No batteries required.

What e-bike to buy? Advice sought, please.

That's the lower, not-so-steep bit! Where it makes a turn about 2/3 of the way up, it steps up a gear.

What e-bike to buy? Advice sought, please.

If you really need a hill, Nightingale Lane a few hundred yards past Richmond Gate must be one of the steepest gradients in this end of London. The Pro Connect handles it well.
