    I guess the moral to the story is to buy the best bike you can afford and up grade the parts a bit at a time as funds allow

    I shall pay him a visit and see what he suggests is available for my needs. Always best to see the vendor face to face I think to see what the customer service would be like after the sale. Thank you for the advice and for taking the time to reply.
