    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

Perfect. The same as on my Oxygen.

    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

I (still) like it and it would definitely be on my shortlist for a replacement for my Oxygen E-mate. Preferred colour would be white but not deal-breaker, along with a twist-gearshift (due to thumb fracture). The hydraulic brakes are very attractive for use here on the Wales borders. What...

Electric bikes on The Apprentice next Wednesday

I will be watching this episode. I used to enjoy it and it reminded me of similar projects at Uni. Now it's TV-wanabees rather than those genuinely interested and with a flair for business.

    Halfords electric scooters.

I wouldn't want to risk 6 points on my driving licence and a £300 fine. (Not that e-scooters would be much use here on our pot-holed muddy lanes....)

    Halfords electric scooters.

Indeed they could be fun - if it were legal to use anywhere other than on private land.

Raleigh Strada rear wheel removal - stumped!

Assuming there is nothing different about the Strada bike, just pop it into the highest gear on the rear wheel and then lift the wheel out through the chain. When replacing the wheel, insert the wheel through the chain and lift the chain back onto the smallest sprocket (ie highest gear).

    Battery re-conditioners

I know you can source them but I'm not sure of their legality for use on UK roads. I'm losing track of where the legislation is now re 250W motor and maximum speed of 15.5mph and whether registration and licence plates are required for anything beyond this. The DVLA site suggests the latter...

    Battery re-conditioners

500W motor and 39km/h with throttle - is this even legal in the UK??

Help! Bought “New” Bike Which Arrived Damaged

I would advise the seller in writing via email then if they don't respond via recorded delivery and outline how you would like them to settle ie replacement bike vs replacement display and compensation for the scratches. I would expect to receive a brand new and expensive bike in perfect...

    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

Please don't make the frame too large - I have long legs but a short body so it's always an issue trying to find a bike to fit without me being high in the air and handlebars beneath my knees or that I have to stretch to reach! An 18" frame with rising handlebars seems to work best and I like...

Hi - only just spotted this message. The eBay battery is still in use and going strong and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same again

    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

I like it and it's one I would definitely consider if it can accommodate a 34" inside leg.

E-bike riders get more exercise than regular cyclists, according to results of new study

Definitely true. With my manual bike, I am limited to rides on flat ground involving having to transport my bike by car to the starting point where my limit would be about 25-30 miles (including today along the Monmouth-Brecon canal towpath). On the leccy bike, I can ride straight from home...

Looking to buy an electric bike

The Seago e-Power might also be worth adding to the list. Mine is still going strong after 4 years of use and abuse and the later models have a much improved spec than my early model.

Declining range seams already after 170 miles use advice folding ebike

This sounds about right to me. It's a pedal-assist bike and I think you really need to be pedaling in order to obtain a more useful mileage range.

    New tires.

No complaints from me. I've been cycling on wet grass, wet roads and wet grit, done a little hard braking and found their grip to be excellent. Really impressed so far and exceeded expectations.

    New tires.

I changed my bike tyres to these too, 26x2" and was very impressed by the promoted 7/7 puncture resistance. Alas, on my very first outing I had my first puncture in 3100 miles and my heart sank. On investigating, it seems it was a faulty inner tube having had three from the same batch split in...

    Off Road vs Road Tyres

I did the opposite - changed my 1" smooth road tyres for 1.75" grippy tyres and it made a huge difference for my rides on rough surfaces. Road tyres are better on roads and mountain bike tyres are better on rough ground.

    What do you think?

I match much of the criteria except for being tiny - to me this bike may feel heavy at 23kg (mine are 19kg and 21kg) and could be on the large side. Also, what is the range of this bike? I have an Oxygen e-Mate ST with a 50-75 miles range, 26" wheels and 21kg at £1100.
