    Brexit, for once some facts.

People spending money that they don't have has been going on long before the word BREXIT was invented. You can't pin that one on leaving the EU. You really are quite obsessed and I'm worried about you. People overindulging on new cars, holidays and houses that they can't afford is a problem...

I've not seen any slow down in spending in my business either. It's a wonderful thing.

I think it was Kudos who indicated that Trump's visit may incite rioting. I was responding to that. Keep up. Oh and I do understand riots and the affect it has on people. First hand understanding. Not something I've read in a left wing lunatic mag.

Well here you are then, you were fretting over nothing. :-)

There is clearly a difference between our outlook. You approve of rioting and I don't. Nothing further to discuss. If people engage in riot over Donald Trump's visit, they are scum and in my view it is acceptable to take whatever measures are necesssy in order to neutralise the rioting.

I can't answer for them, but if they do engage in violent protest, they deserve to be on the receiving end of whatever it takes to neutralise them. Violence should never prosper. Personally, if BREXIT doesn't work out, I'll swallow the consequences. However, I don't think BREXIT will fail.

Let's get two things straight. 1) The killings st the mosque can not be laid at Donald Trump's door or at any of those people who voted for Donald Trump. 2) People who destroy property belonging to others and assault people in violent protest over something such as a state visit by a...

I agree. I foresee violent protests because that is what scum do. They commit violent act of damage to property and assault people. However, that is absolutely no reason to not host Donald Trump. The criminal rabble can be dealt with.

Or alternatively, non of the above will happen.

These serial moaners have no business interfering in foreign democracy. Donald Trump will be visiting and he should be made welcome. He should also be left in no doubt that we, the UK, disagree with some of his policies. The nonesense we are seeing is not the proper way forward. It creates a...

Only about 30 million more signatures needed then and they might have a majority. Look, whether these protestors like it or not, Donald Trump is the elected head of state in the USA. He has won the presidency under the system which operates in that country. The same system under which Obama...

Voted for what? Unemployment rates have not increased.

Do you have any idea how ridiculously pompous that makes you sound? This may come as a shock, but there are many people who are far more intelligent than you who voted for BREXIT. We all have our individual personal reasons for voting how we did, and that may include voting for the unknown...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You didn't mention the petition to invite him in your original post, you just drew an incorrect comparison between the anti-Trump petition and the EU referendum. Again, to compare the petition to invite Trump with a totally seperate and independent one to reject him, is statistically flawed for...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You can not compare the number of votes cast in a petition with the differential in the number of votes cast in a referendum and then try to draw an inference from the numbers. That is exactly what you have done and the comparison is meaningless. You say that you have a qualification in...

Those figures are totally meaningless. They aren't worth the bits of data which cause the figures to display on my smart phone.

That's interesting. Am I correct in thinking that these are averages for the past 10 years and therefore doesn't include 9/11? But I suppose if we did include 9/11 it would still be less deadly than beds and busses.

I think what it proves is that the electorate feel so let down, ignored and trampled on by the inadequate cretins who populate traditional mainstream politics, that they will vote for a radical alternative.
