    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes you're completely right - 'capitalism' has to go hand in hand with the rule of law and appropriate regulations - uncontrolled it is as you say very dangerous. The danger to the planet is not the free exchange of goods and services for money (which is what capitalism actually comes down to...

Oh I don't doubt it's 'red' in that sense. But I was talking economics. It's like people who think Sweden or Norway are 'socialist'. They're not. They both use markets to set prices. That is the key. The moment you step away from that is the moment you destroy the economic bedrock.

Yeah I saw that - seems they would cause more damage than a bird (or even 5 birds).

The latest 'punctuation guides' all report that use of the hyphen instead of a comma is fine. Though they tend to say no more than two a sentence - which I quite often break. For somebody like yourself still living in the dark ages - I doubt you're up-to-date with stuff like that.

More complete b*******s. You lost. Get over it. Remain had ALL the extra money. The government spent £9m on a pro-remain leaflet.

Yup - that's how it works. And we sell stuff we're good at doing - and leave what does not make a profit to people who CAN make a profit doing that. This is the global capitalism that has dragged us screaming and kicking to where we are now.

Have you seen the size of those engines? My hunch is they'd have no problem with one small drone.

For a while. You don't like it because you can't see the positives. So suffer!

There will be disruption for sure. We all knew that. Well I did. To me it was about getting out of a club I never wanted to join in the first place.

btw - perhaps before you try to educate me you could start with yourself - and the basics of written English - like you don't put an extra full-stop after a question mark at the end of a sentence. You're very welcome. Anytime.

Surprise surprise the Guardian has the polls saying Remain is ahead. Strike me down with a f*******g feather.

It's economics changed from being 'red' to full-blooded capitalist just about the same time their levels of poverty started to plummet. Which of course was my point.

OK. Fair enough. Those are good points.

Before the last vote 'Remain' had a solid 8 point lead for about 2 weeks. And we all know how that ended.

That article was from the Times btw (a real Remainer paper if ever there was one btw)

I could send in some stuff about Venezuela if you'd prefer. Another Socialist ideal gone wrong. What Socialists never quite get - is the moment you stop allowing markets to price goods things go terribly wrong. They think they can price everything from some central point and get it right -...

I know what you mean. Some UK companies deserve to sink and if true capitalism was allowed to take its course they would - and resources would be funnelled elsewhere.

FINAL PART: DIVORCE BILL Worst case: Britain could end up paying more into the EU budget than under the financial settlement in the withdrawal treaty. The impact of no deal on the Brussels budget is low in 2019 because of the structure of the bloc’s financing, so the shortfall is only...
