    It's nothing to do with Brexit. Longer term interest rates have to rise. I am talking globally and relating this to much longer term trends. For now we're safe. But for how long? Who knows.

    So long as they can cover their interest payments - it's fine for now. Interest rates though HAVE to go up - the pension funds are getting killed so there is only one way for it to go. So it's obviously not a good idea having debt that is not on a (manageable) fixed rate of interest.
