This is a Freego Regency, about 6 years old and still powering along...except for this. Is anything to be done with it . Nothing seems to work. Is it possible to replace with a newer LCD?

Having trouble finding a "Flip" Saddle, the ones you Tip up to put the Battery down the back seat. Any tips? Proper name?

The Throttle on a Freego bike has stopped working. This is the 2nd. in 2.1/2 years. Our local Freego stockists is no more. Think the Red on\off switch is the problem. If I wired the 2 wires under the switch together would this work? If I did it in situ would it damage anything?
