I've got the same motor then. Mine had an 8Fun marking on it. It's a good motor, very powerful at 36V. Don't bother with 24V though as it's gutless.

Hello John If the bike is 24 Volts then at 16 Amps that would be 384 Watts, so a 16 Amp controller would be the minimum. Is the 380 Watts figure the peak power or the continuous rating? If it's the continuous rating then the peak power would be much higher and you may need something...

Ah so it seems the problem is not so much with the new controller connections as with not knowing what the ezee ones are. Can you open up the ezee controller? It may be that you can see where the wires go to and there may be some markings on the pcb to identify the connections.

It sounds like the sort of crash where a helmet could do more harm than good. When sliding off like that the helmet could catch on the road surface and wrench the neck violently and cause severe injury.
