Haibike sDuro HardSeven SL 2015 Yamaha (7 Month 1600 Miles)

If you rode a Yamaha bike in Eco or Eco+ the gear change is smooth as the power is reduced it is like riding a pedal bike. The Bosch bikes have all the delayed start and gear changing software built in that you pay a premium for and the Kalkhoff's too. The cheaper Yamaha is just grunt, so you...

Forgot! Punctures, get a bottle of tube sealant and squirt it in and job done. If you want to go further buy a tyre with a protection layer in. Like https://www.schwalbe.com/gb/tour-reader/marathon-plus-mtb.html

Are you using maximum assistance all the time ? When you do it puts a lot of strain on the gears and chain Try it in ECO for a while and see if you get the same, I think that will cure it I read that most Yamaha riders use the cheapest gear replacements when they do replace them As the...

Not sure, what do you think

But he says "there is the cut out at 50" when he is not peddling, when he is peddling he gets to 80. (KMH) The bike is only twice the weight of yours, but goes 20 MPH faster than you? Does any one know how 80 KMH is achieved? I don't want to build one I just want to want one, I would never...

Not sure, what do you think

I thought WOW, then how brave the rider is! I started thinking about the strain on the rear spokes attaining those speeds and also the very harsh regen probably more strain than acceleration, really an eye opener. Is it right the motor on throttle goes to 50K but with pedal it continues to...

    The new best headlight

I think you blew it up with 12 volts. With the next one start at 1.2 volts and go from there. Really with LED's ignore voltage and use current to see what is going on and gradually build up.;) 100 mA good (0.1 amp) and you can increase this, 10 AMPS bad ( but this will only show for a...

Recommend me a new front light

I have one of the £ 17 bike lights, if you can put up with the battery in a pack it is good for the money, real good. The Meteor is my back up light.

    Batteries too expensive!!

If you read up on how FETS/MOSFETS are used in commercial battery protection circuits you will then understand why there is no detectable voltage on your multimeter. Pin pattern does not matter.

So I went out today to try my new tyres. Below, looking up the Lugg Valley to Clee Hill. I went some where I had not been before, "nice change", from the hill side in front you may see the drop. It is the steepest hill I have been down on my bike, at one point I laughed out loud at my...
