Converting from Swytch to standard equipment

If a domain is parked downforeveryone will see it live (*). It doesn't check for sensible content, just for a response. (*) unless the parking site is down

Which indicates distance you can travel

Wh (which is Ah * V) is indeed the measure of capacity that controls range. Of course there are lots of other variables. Also, if the battery doesn't have very good ability to deliver current then it will suffer voltage sag under load (eg up hills), that might mean even though there is capacity...

Advice on correct bike size (Cube reaction pro)

My personal choice has always been for a smaller frame than generally suggested; even though I like the saddle high. The one issue I've had with a smaller frame has been getting the bars high enough; bat that's fairly easily solved too.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

There are unfortunately plans to relocate that line to pass through the local village instead.

World’s 280 million electric bikes and mopeds are cutting demand for oil far more than electric cars

When we had a Hann (*) trailer behind our tandem the turning circle was very big. An added complication was if the trailer got to 90 degrees from the bike the coupling no longer gave vertical stability so down went trailer (and child). (*) Rann trailer made by Mr Hannington.

    Mahle 30 system derestrict.

An important part of a good forum (or good person to person discussion) is to give all useful information relevant to a question rather than just a direct answer. Yes Is that so?

Run your bosch ebike on any 36v battery

Probably interesting, I haven't the patience for nearly an hour video. Maybe I will have when our Bosch battery finally dies. Does anyone know of a summary?

Very sad. A big shame (though I never had any direct reason to buy from them).

    Illegal ebike crackdown Coventry

At least the press (and presumably the police) are being very clear about the term e-motorbike. In so many reports the generic e-bike term has been used. A (small) step forwards in clarifying public perception.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

No. Consider world is 4 equal regions, A,B,C,D, and an arbitrary unit of warming (eg degrees C per century). If we have A not warming. B warming 1 unit, C warming 2 units, D warming 3 units. Then B is warming, but it is not warming more than the rest of the world, just a bit more than A. Worse...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I remember for IBM Hursley's 40th or 50th anniversary they had a marquee up before the event. On the day with the marquee gone wanted a photoshoot from the air with lots of people on the ground. But the grass under where the marquee had been had gone yellow, so they got the gardener to spread...

    Thanks for letting me in!

Well done and good luck. Your first decision will be whether you want an e-bike that is like a 'real' bike with a little bit of assistance, or a bike that can do most of the work when you want it, but won't be as light or feel quite as you are used to. If your current bikes are suitable you may...

What do you think of my new bike?

Transfer rust spots add colour and make the bike look less desirable for theft. (A bit bogus on an aluminium frame, but ...)

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

Nothing useful came of either Brexit or that thread. The closest of something useful for me was the saved time when I stopped looking at it.

    Dead hard drive data recovery

I use a program called ZAR (Zero Assumption Recovery). £35 in 2008; lifetime price, not rental, including all updates till they finally stopped support a year or so ago. Quite dated but very effective. It was much better than my experiences with Easeus for recovery, though I still use Easeus...
