    XT60 v bullet connectors

But make sure you get the polarity right when soldering the wires into an XT60 connector. Controllers do not like being wired up incorrectly!

    XT60 v bullet connectors

I do this on all my kit, or to XT90 where appropriate.

What does that do for tyre rolling resistance and suppleness?

    Kenda tyres

That's annoying people gave the City Jets good reviews. Bike tyres aren't cheap and there are so many, it's hard to know what to go for, so honest reviews are important. I've got Big Bens on one of my bikes - it came with them on it. They roll nicely and are good at absorbing shocks from the...

Yeah, that's a shame. I think I might try the Pick Up cargo bike tyre for the folder.

Smoke coming from Pendleton e-bike battery

Can the OP post some photos - including exactly what was done to "tighten" the battery?

Yes, the Marathon plus have improved in their wet grip, but still not perfect. Have you tried the E-plus though? I run one on the back and I've been very impressed with it in all conditions.

    Kenda tyres

I wouldn't recommend all Schwalbe tyres. Some are brilliant, others are just awful. I bought some City Jet once, total crap. Poor puncture resistance, slick tread - but crap rolling resistance. Replaced them with Marathon Supremes, which did everything brilliantly. For some of their range I just...

    Kenda tyres

Swimming is the best thing to do as joints age to give a good workout. Running isn't a good idea as you age and also get heavier. I find swimming and using the e-bike keeps me a stable weight. You might want to look into what you are eating and why you are eating. Boredom can lead to over eating.

Probably the case that if you hadn't started using the e-bike you'd be either even fatter or dead ;-)

    Kenda tyres

Schwalbe tyres have a partnership with Hung A, but they are not owned by them. Kenda are a big manufacturer, their tyres are better than unbranded or Chinese labels, but can their products compete in terms of performance with Conti or Schwalbe, I'm not convinced. Have a look here...

    Puncture proof tyres

Do you know what is causing your punctures? Hawthorn clippings? I run Marathon E-Plus on the back. It's pretty much bomb proof and has good rolling resistance. https://www.schwalbetires.com/Marathon-E-Plus-11159053.01

    Kenda tyres

I generally get Schwalbe tyres, others swear by Continental. Kenda tends to be for low end kit. They started off in Taiwan and now have factories across Asia. However, in terms of ride, puncture resistance and rolling resistance I think one of the German brands will be far better.

    Aldi spoke light

If they are programmable, can you get them to display text as they spin? 1800LM rear facing light? Isn't that verging on dazzling?

    Chainring size advice.

Can you work it out from your preferred cadence, and then see what speed that is for a given gear and wheel size?

    Local Cop Clampdown?

Looks like a Rawbike? It's unlikely to be 250W, probably at least 500W.
