As of today it is £262. 50.......at the end of the month it will be £375 00.....it goes up by £12.50 per day, so in another month it will be around £800.....I packed up smoking 21 days ago, and need a form of exercise as I don't walk very good, after two blood clot by-pass operations in legs........

Just something to go for gentle rides on......not on particularly rough terrain, and not very hilly.....but something that will go a fair distance between charging.......

I sold the Granite to a chap that already had one, but later regretted parting with it......we live and learn I guess ??.......

Hi, not used the forum for a while, as not had an Ebike, but now in the position to purchase another one......I had an issue with the last one I bought, in that the battery was u/s, and a new one was hard to find........my question is, are there any models to avoid, when buying secondhand...

O.k......No. 1 son has just been out on the bike.....voltage on leaving 4.1 volts......went about five miles, on the flat, in 5 th gear......voltage on returning 4.1 volts......maybe all is not lost ?

Thanks for that.....sending son (fitter than me) out on it tomorrow.....he has instructions to go about 10 miles.....will see what happens.....to be honest I think a new battery is called for.....unfortunately batteries for this particular model are no longer available, so may have to shop...

Fully charged again, and reading 42 volts this time.......another run out tomorrow, with some hills involved.........

Just been about 3 miles, and taken another battery reading.....39 volts......I wonder if the old girl has been laid up for too long, and it will take a while for the battery to "settle down"......now got it on charge again........

O.k......With the battery fully charged, it gives a reading of 41 volts.....just going for a run on it, and will see what it says when I get back........

Thank you......it surprised me that it went so low that it didn't even register that the battery had gone completely flat.......work in progress......

nd like your battery is just holding a surface charge - once under load, that charge soon evaporates and you end of with now useable power. Others will be along to suggest some possible first aid measures that might help recover the battery. There's always the possibility of the BMS playing up...

Very interesting reading Tony, thank you......got battery on charge now, will see what happens.....I don't know how old it is, or how long it's been laid up.....if it happens again, I will take it apart and have a look......

Just been out on the Batribike Granite.......first time for ages, after about a mile the battery was showing three bars......then cut out all together......got back to base camp in normal pedal mode, and the battery is now showing fully charged......is my battery dying? or could there be another...

Thank you to all for the replies, obviously there is some interest in actually doing a conversion like this..........I now have a date for the removal of second blood clot, so everything is on hold at the moment.........I shall pursue this at a later date...........Del.

Yes, That is exactly what I had in mind........if it is not possible to use the Powacycle as the motive power, then I may consider buying one of these ''front fork'' thingy's, even though they are outrageously expensive........I am limited as to what I can do at the moment, and don't want to...

Basically what I need to do is to take the rear wheel, which contains the hub motor , remove the chain sprockets, and then fit this rear wheel into the front forks..........I just wonder if this can be done ?..........Del.
