Sub £1000 full throttle bike for someone with ME (chronic fatigue)

I have CFS/ME and I love my crusa - it has changed my life My only issues are wheeling it with shopping packed into my panniers and getting it up and down steps as I'm not very strong But the whole electric bike thing has been amazing - set the gears low on a bad day and the motor on 5 and...

Cube Elly Ride Hybrid - test ride? Views?

Well, when I have it on the towbar car rack all the weight is at the back so my right arm is supporting more than my left - which puts me off balance & when I pull it up onto the train the back end sort of dangle/dips sidewards (towards me isn't too bad but awy from it is awful)

Cube Elly Ride Hybrid - test ride? Views?

I'm in Ipswich I'm OK with my bike - until I want to load it on the back of my car or on the train or manouver it with full panniers of shopping I was really on the look out for a light weight bike - but so many sites don't show the weight!! 24kgs is about a third of my body weight and then...

Cube Elly Ride Hybrid - test ride? Views?

Has anyone got one of these Cube Elly Ride hybrid? What are they like? It's very pretty (and green) It's about the same weight as my current bike but the battery is in the middle rather than on the back so I may manage it better Is there any where I could go for a test ride? I don't mind...

Can I charge my battery with a solar panel?

I now have 12 panels on my roof - today we got 15.5 kWh and since they were installed after Christmas we have produced 399kWh My electric bill says we use an average of 7.5kWh a day......so I reckon we are doing OK The FIT is tiny but if we can use most of what we produce we will do OK (I...

Can I charge my battery with a solar panel?

Or would it take forever? I don't really understand electricity & batteries so, if I bought something like these https://www.sunstore.co.uk/Portable-Solar-Chargers/ would it charge the battery or would it take days? If I can which one should I buy? Just asking as I like the idea of being a...

    I need a bike shed!

I don't think I'll be allowed to have a high shed at the front if I have to have one at the back that looks perfect but that does add a narrow path to me getting the bike out- & I want to make it easy for myself I have measured the bike myself & the height is slightly lower at 1.17 but the...

    I need a bike shed!

I do have to solve it though - there isn't a second reception room (well there is but it will be our bedroom as I don't do stairs too well!) So it has to be a shed/shelter/thing
