    Yosepower Front Hub kit recommendations/alternatives

I find Chinese manufactures and sellers very unreliable. What they write in technical specification is one thing while you will get something quite different in real life. What I know is that when going up hill Yose is struggling. Huffing, puffing and making a lot of noise, but it always gets me...

    Thoughts on single speed e-bikes?

Expensive, but looks nice. Quick release on battery is a funny feature.

    Yosepower Front Hub kit recommendations/alternatives

Hi JT. I have Yose front hub. No problems with aluminum fork apart from need to source extra washers to install it safely on quick release fork. Torque arm would add extra safety though. I am very much against illegal options, but if I was buying now I would consider 350W option. 250W I find...

Yose power - front wheel kit

True. I find velcro ties less aesthetically pleasing though. One way or another cable length shouldn't make a massive difference when it comes to removing wheel .

Yose power - front wheel kit

Trouble with Yose is they don't really know what they are talking about, so it might have connector or... not. This is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0991ZDJYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it has such connector (28" kit). However even with...

Yose power - front wheel kit

Single long cable is a bad design. I guess I would carry small scissors and some zip ties in saddle bag.

Yose power - front wheel kit

I have very limited experience with ebikes. I have 2 of them. One Yose and one Ananda. Both front hubs. Ananda is much better. Don't think it makes big difference front or rear hub. I would give Yose 2.5 stars out of 5. It is ok...ish Also 2 stars for their customer service. I find them...

Yose power - front wheel kit

I have Yose front wheel hub motor. Not sure why 180cm long cable would make it difficult to remove wheel... There is a connector close to motor, which you can unplug and remove wheel. Maybe provide a link to kit you are considering to buy so we can advice you better.

    parts an prices from china

So... let me get this straight... you don't work and you don't want to work... and yet you ride bike worth 3.5k? Man... you are my hero! Where do you live? We should meet in local pub and have a pint or two while complaining about migrants and Chinese taking our jobs. I will make sure drinks...

    New in eBike World

I think battery is so big because controller and all electronic bits are inside. May I ask how much did you pay for this bike? Looks very decent, but motor/controller/battery might be very expensive to fix. As per speed limit.. police in UK generally ignore ebikes even visibly illegal ones...

    New in eBike World

As far as I know speed limit in Poland is 25km/h... better check before modification. There are few ways coming to my mind, but I don't support any changes making bikes illegal. I am sure others will help you if you decide to do it. Changing battery is possible, but it is not straightforward...

    New in eBike World

Welcome Andrew. I would advice to leave battery as it is for now until you know your bike better. Usually people want bigger battery capacity, not smaller. Removing speed limit would make your bike illegal on UK roads.

    GT Aggressor

Not entirely an ebike, but great value for money (£250 at this moment) for somebody looking for a bike to convert. Add conversion kit for £350 and you can get great entry level eMTB...

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

That is not entirely true. I tried to not pay for TV license for few years, but they use mafia tactics, send enforcers, send letters and try to intimidate people. In the end my wife gave up and now she is paying for it. I disagree, but it gives her peace of mind so we pay this tax.

    Storing ebikes and their electronics?

Removing electric parts like controller, battery, wheel with hub motor and display and taking them home might be a good solution if bike is not used during winter. To be honest I keep only batteries at home. Bikes are in the shed. So far I was lucky and all is OK, but I might regret being lazy...

I believe you have misunderstood comments. I think we all are looking forward to read your review. Good or bad it can help other people to make informed choice. In my opinion this bike is a very poor value for money, but I hope I am wrong.

As per description bike has double coil/hydraulic shock absorption as well as front and rear double mechanical and hydraulic disc brakes for more precise braking. Quite an interesting combination. I am looking forward to read your review of this bike.

    Does the dream ebike exist?

Are you sure you want a bike? This one ticks most of your boxes, but wheel is only 10" and it is not foldable. https://www.piaggio.com/gb_EN/models/piaggio-1/piaggio-1-1-2-kw-2021/

I would say cancel your order if you can. It doesn't look like a good value for money at all. Edit: I see Guerney was faster... I totally agree with him. All components are no name on this bike.
