Haibike FS AMT RRP £4150 Now £2549

Yes true, they largely hold their value as theres not many Haibikes up for grabs 2nd hand. But I was a little forgiving on this one considering its a 2013 model with the Classic+ Motor :)

Do you think I need a new cassette?

& yes the 23t will be a problem, so best rule it out all together. Ill have to check sprocketry on the Shimano ones to make sure we get something compatible.

Do you think I need a new cassette?

Hi James, Why not go with a 11-25t Official Shimano one and save yourself 7 pounds? I dont see any benefit really of dropping to the 11-23t. You'll end up losing a climbing gear with very similar ratios in between anyway. Or you could SLOOOOOOOWW down! ;) Especially with that little dog sat...

Do you think I need a new cassette?

Hi James, £65 parts plus small labour charge, while you wait job. Plus a smile and a coffee. You can go for a roadie 10speed cassette, which would work better with your long chain and extra large front sprocket. something like 11-25t etc. You can't use 8,9 or 11 speed cassettes correctly...

Haibike FS AMT RRP £4150 Now £2549

Hello Guys, We have a Haibike FS AMT part ex here. Although we could sell it as brand new! Came in just this week, we know the full history of this bike. The slightly only dirty part we could find was the chain, so we have also just bunged on a brand new chain and cassette as well as a full...

    The psychology of thieves.

About 6 years ago, I sold a bike to a London commuter: During set-up, he asked me to spray paint the whole bike with matte black paint out of a rattle can. His specific words were to spray everything, not just the frame & leave loads of overspray. As much as I resented doing so (£1800 bike) I...

    SRAM dual drive experience

Think about it, on a normal bike, say 24 speed. You only have about 14 usable gears, as you cant use gear 1 with gear 3 on the front or gear 1 with gear 3 on the back etc. You cant cross over. The beauty of the DD is that you actually have 27 'usable' gears! Its one of the only Bosch eBikes to...

Trying to find an 8 speed chain for a crank drive motor.

Its not the best route as opposed to buying one whole. Although you can link them using a chain rivet extractor. Just don't push the connecting pin all the way through or it is near impossible to get back in. If you had 2 chains you would have plenty to play with.

Trying to find an 8 speed chain for a crank drive motor.

Some bike shops will have KMC 8 Speed chains on a reel. Just ask it to be cut longer, 138 links is normally well enough. Or buy 2 standard (116 link) chains and link them together. Shimano and Sram now do specific longer chains for CD eBikes but they are only for 9 speed onwards with Shimano...
