If your intent on removing it I think you may need to use the type of removal tools referred to in reply #81 or carefully levered off as in the video in your reply #73. I would guess its just stuck, grime,rust,muck, some persuasion probably needed. My old SWX02 clutch just slid of as in that...

.........all else failing if it was me I`d hold it so the bearing is facing down and clean it best I could so nothing goes inside the motor. Light oil it and see if it works. Nothing to lose if parts are not available.....

haven't a clue how that one works but nothing like my SWX02 clutch which has 3 rollers that climb up a slight ramp to engage and much beefier all-round. Good luck with it but maybe a thorough clean will sort it.......

I'm back.......... I suffered intermittent drive on my Bafang SWX02 and it was the clutch sticking and these are easily available. Another member with a different motor with same problem soaked his clutch in I don't know what but it freed his clutch. I think what little grease is in the clutch...

Had a similar problems with my Bafang SWX02 hub after 6,000 miles. Turned out to be the clutch not working, stuck. Ordered a replacement from China and all OK now in excess of 10,000 miles. Took the old one to bits and I think the grease in it just hardened/thickened. Another member on here had...
