RC Lipo - anyone making it easy ?

Most people don't do this because it's simpler (and cheaper) just to have a higher voltage battery and a controller with a 3 speed switch, and then program the controller to say 10mph position 1, 15 mph pos2 and 20mph pos3 etc.

RC Lipo - anyone making it easy ?

I don't like soldered anderson connectors. I wanted the security of hydraulically pressed connectors.

Loving front hub drive in the snow.

I love Blackpool council - they haven't gritted the side roads but they've done the entire 7 mile cycle route along the prom - bone dry today :-) People may knock Blackpool but it's a great place to be a cyclist :-)

Found myself answering the same old questions.

What about:- "Does it charge while you pedal"? I just walk off if confronted with that.

    New build.

But you'd have to buy a t-peice as well and thread adaptors (as car brake lines are typically M10 and bike hydraulics are M6/M8 fine pitch)

    Torque arm challenges

Why can't you use the rack mount for a rack if you use it for the torque arm? Just use a longer bolt that secures both the torque plate and the rack stay.

    My e-bike Stolen

Bit late now but garden sheds aren't really the place to store high value items. I had a friend who stored all his RC heli gear in the shed and was worried about theft, so he fitted steel bars, big clasp locks etc. He came home one day to find thieves had removed the roof!

Ham-fisted mechanics or rubbish tools for consumers ?

I've used this toolset for years - some of the nicest bike tools I've used - inc Park tools. Compliments my Britool auto tools I have. As for pedals - with the bike stood upright, move the pedal to the front (3 o'clock if looking at it from the side), place the pedal spanner on the flat with...

Yes, but I don't think farmers using quad bikes to get across their land really have anything to worry about :-)
