Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

I would be happy with a cycle mot too, as long as costs are reasonable and no one is failed on a missing valve cap. fwiw i experienced the opposite of Mrs @Az. 's experience yesterday me and 3 other cyclists and 2 x pedestrians are waiting at the same pelican crossing and when the lights go...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

I personally consider an unrestricted e-bike a safer option than one restricted to a 15.5 mph speed limit. As on occasion the ability to speed up and out of a tricky situation could be a life saver. But im a fat ol git with a house and savings to loose.. Not a teen with a deathwish and feeling...

Think i might need talking down..

Naw, just a mental back of a ciggy packet calculation based on the proportion of the 60w 5m length of led strip used eating 5a @12v using 1a per meter as the comfortable guideline, ( granted @6v it would be closer to 500ma per m actual consumption but healthy overhead ;) and ive only posted day...

Think i might need talking down..

nice price, but 1.5a max Im going to have to count leds again but iirc the 3a of the other modules was just about enough with a comfortable overhead..

Wisper We've bundled eBike security and I think we are the first!

If you have a couple of 'handy' or at least looking the part pals and a van at hand and the time to chase down your bike if its stolen, a diy approach with an airtag (bleeper removed see yt) and a simple 2g gprs tracker and a sim card is do-able, but its not a workable solution for everyone...

Think i might need talking down..

3 attempts to buy a 12 to 6v voltage converters from ebay resulted in receiving the same 4.2v devices?? 3 different sellers.... or are they? or has the manufacturer sent out batches in error, ive checked the output from all 3 devices clearly labled 4v2 and each has a 4.2v output... So i...

Adjusting PAS levels of assist on Engwe EP2-Pro

while the controller updates the display with speed battery and power metrics for display, its the display that sends the config parameters you have set within it to the controller at start up as a general rule.

    Checking Multimeter Calibration at Home

Yikes.. Youtube endorsement and the price basically triples!! stick to the 4.99 specials and just keep replacing them as and when perhaps?,, my meter use is almost only continuity and voltage level checks with the occasional component validation test ,so the cheapo jobs have served me well so...

Adjusting PAS levels of assist on Engwe EP2-Pro

Hi Paul Welcome, Yeah thats about it im afraid.. your only real option would be to replace the controller and headset/display combo. bikes sold within the eu/uk are limited to comply with the local regs and have closed systems that dont allow mods. you may find alternative firmware to flash...

Converting from Swytch to standard equipment

Just in case your unaware/unprepared, that pas sensor will require the removal of your bottom bracket to fit, an easy enough job with the correct tools but a pita to bodge up without the tools. Linky

Wisper We've bundled eBike security and I think we are the first!

Good luck with the venture, its probably very appealing for the more level headed who wont go chasing after their own bike with a speaker removed airtag embedded. i know its a typo but it made me giggle..

Lithium battery rechargeable headlights with mirrors

who thought having bright spot lights shinning from highly mobile pivoting points would be a good idea? Ive been advised to ride defensively before but never offensively.. Seems lke a great way of annoying all the oncoming traffic, 'here let me blind you a few times before you pass me..'...
