Think i might need talking down..

The diy back/brake light takes shape.. Ive whittled the led neon strip to fold in on itself twice for a 3xlight bar a few times and added 2 x orange indicator elements to each end of a nominally longer strip intended to sit at the top.. tests at 6V and 12v for running lights and brake lights...

Front bike light has no power

Fwiw ive opted to add this front lamp the key feature being the 'universal input voltage' chenglish for what i understand to be a wide range of input voltages.. tho i will be running off 12v via a dc/dc converter. not in the same league as @guerney 's solution but not needed to perform...

KT LCD5 controller issue with throttle and PAS

Trust me after decades of IT fault finding ITS ALWAYS THE CABLE especially when you dont rule it out #1, is this an additional cable that plugs in between the controller and the headsets and throttle? since corrosion got in and the wires are very thin, AND a replacement also fails.. smells...

Aldi 145L "Heavy Duty" Trunk £17.99

Where there is a will there is a way.. could a stiffened ratchet strap be snaked over wheels front and rear? if so then simple chock blocks to keep the wheels stationary while clamped down might work well.

Aldi 145L "Heavy Duty" Trunk £17.99

OK length at 22.5cm off the ground wheels in, is just under 83cm, 82.8 by my rule, measured via w 4ft piano clamp suspended at 22.5cm off the ground on old off cuts. the vice jaws were not wide enough to cover the whole curve one end so i eyeballed it in as i wound up the clamp screw. ...

Help! 2 wheels better than 4, when its not raining.

I see the crater now r 21 looks like it got a lil warm but the 113 on it tells us its 11000 or 11 kohm, so you can test that, above it T2 is the leg of the resistor and above that the crater and the unpopulated double box for R16, and to the right what i assume is the new 5v ldo which looks...

Aldi 145L "Heavy Duty" Trunk £17.99

So I got one of these.. But currently have no trailer, my initial plan was to ebay a local kiddy trailer to rob the axel, wheels and tow bar from, having seen similar done in a utube vid some time ago.. Hell i just asked a neighbor who shops at aldi if he sees one and is up for it to pick me...

Help! 2 wheels better than 4, when its not raining.

can you take more pics of the mystery item, it looks like a solderblob suspended in mid air or standing on 3 spider thin legs?? But the 2 not so clean solderpads just above to the right suggest its the underside of a component thats 'fallen' from there when overheated ???

    mtb front mudguard options?

its the extra length from the axle as a result from securing the supports to the forks not taken up by sufficient bending.. Unlike other traditional mudguard designs the supports can not be pushed back, there is wheel clearance at the front although my poor photography dose not indicate it.

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

any costs from legislation or regulation will come from the pockets of those paying for delivery and those doing the delivery, with the knock on effect of folk demanding a better quicker service in line with the extra cost and deliverers racing faster to make less money. And who benefits?

KT LCD5 controller issue with throttle and PAS

Isopropanol (IPA) 70-99% alcohol and a gentle toothbrush is a good way to clean pcb's clear nail polish can be a cheap waterproof coating to hamper future corrosion

    mtb front mudguard options?

Your bike looks as if its been down the trails i hope to follow @georgehenry, Yours is the second of the 'more common' styles i spotted and thanks for clarifying the need for a strap/support, as I was wondering how they didnt just fall out?? but for now i have cable tied on the 'spare'...

Cheers.. have pushed the button on one of those switch sets.. damn the cost!! as for relays, since i have a 5v2a rail from the psu i selected i will use 5v switching relays in modules aimed at the arduino diy ecosystem. and this will facilitate any 'smart' additions i finally add.. Cant...

    Treadmill Bicycle

can they afford the back hander to the PM thats generally required for scooter-ish wide spread approval? Price has probably skyrocketed since the last deal went through though, the current one isnt as desperate as the last sell out. I hope not at least..

Think i might need talking down..

Thanks @guerney but no thanks.. Rather than continue spending more and more without making any actual progress i think now its time to use what i have and replace with better when/if it fails, all i need is the 1 button interface with indicator switching, (more than 1 button..) and i can live...
