Good job for me that I wasn't on Yamaha emtb, and or that the Bosch symbol was hidden.

If you go down in the woods today, you are sure of a big surprise! :D Even more so if you go back the next evening for another chat, and to share a cuppa whilst sitting beside a fire. It's always good to know who else is in the woods at night time, and to have them on side. :D

Bad Kama, or just a run of sh!+ luck

Gringo, I don't know where you live, but if you are in the South East, and fancy a ride, I'd be very willing to join you.

    Stratospheric prices

Comparing a build by D8veh to an off the shelf build isn't something that I agree with. Does Dave have to pay for research and development into both current and future projects, production costs, countless trips to factories to check on progress, type approval, insurance of differing type...

How another bike forum see's us the Pedelecs forum.

The funny part was that the ban wasn't wasn't even pedelec related, although I had made my feelings clear in respect of current UK pedelec law. The ban was actually because of the photo shown below and written content about my pedal mtb. Content of previous posts and thread titles within both...

How another bike forum see's us the Pedelecs forum.

I recently received a lifetime ban from the UK Cycling Forum. Apparently, and I quote. "the forum does not allow self publicist" Apparently my photos and writing in the mtb section, was too orchestrated. I just found it funny.

What Is The Main Purpose Of Pedelecs ?

From reading the first page of the thread Brexit, for once some facts I do have an observation which might reflect upon comments of forum members not posting any more. Trex was one from that page, and although I could be wrong, I thought that Trex was connected to Woosh, and was requested by...

    Cageless water bottle...

Definitely. :) I use a 2L Classic for local rides, and a 3L Mule for longer rides. The Mule also carries my second battery, and more often than not, my trail clearing tools. I do have a bottle cage on the pedal mtb though, but only ever use the bottle option for the shortest of rides, where I...

Do these luggage bags tend to move around when you ride on rough ground?

Sadly yes they can. It happened twice on two different Crivit saddle mounted bags. I guess that cheap zip design and vibration from off road use, made them come open. I also found that the zip on a cheapo top tube mounted bag also used to work it's way undone. .

Do these luggage bags tend to move around when you ride on rough ground?

One thing that is worth keeping an eye on with any of these bags, is that on the cheaper bags, the zips can often work there way loose. I've had a few in the past, and usually there is a way to add an additional fastener, even if it just a safety pin or key ring. Sadly I speak from bitter...

Slight creak Bosch CX on Cube

I do just the same. For me it is a way of ironing out any future issues, by learning any peculiar aspects of a bikes construction. I enjoy the process. :) A shot that you might appreciate Fogo. My pre first ride check over. You have reminded me of the bearings though. I had forgotten, so...

What Is The Main Purpose Of Pedelecs ?

A what? Remembering back, it isn't the first time that you have used abusive language towards other forum members. Once a bully, always a bully. .

Tell that to d8veh I would say that online bullying isn't either. Bullying is bullying, however you try to disguise it. .

E-bikes declared illegal to use on European roads without insurance

As Tommie has alluded to, I'm guessing that you would presumably have to hold a valid driving licence and be using a registered vehicle. I don't belong to British Cycling, but here is a break down of the cover that they offer to members. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/thirdpartyliability My...

E-bikes declared illegal to use on European roads without insurance

I have public liability insurance for my work, and third party liability insurance for private use. The latter being through two different cycling clubs. So for me, public liability represents business use, and third party liability private use.

What Is The Main Purpose Of Pedelecs ?

Funny how you always manage to say that when things aren't going the way that you would like. Where is your proof for making the above statement? It is pretty laughable that you would even begin to believe that new forum members contact other forum members based upon post count.:D...

At the end of the ride, I had roughly a quarter of battery capacity left remaining on a second battery. Other than an estimated two miles, the ride was ridden using tour, with the estimated two miles being ridden in eMTB mode. The first battery expired at 31 miles. The distance from 18 miles...
