    Q100H 800W 25mph

Hello all, Remembered my test to put a bike outside overnight and see if anything happens? After couple of months as nothing happened I decided to put a motor on it: I used a Q100H 260rpm with 48V sine wave controller. It's quite neat and nice. Lightweight. And biggest surprise of all...

    Dahon Jetstream conversion

The tape wrapping the battery to the aluminium board teared down. I tried heavy duty tape but it still can't handle vibration from bike and also split apart. I need some sort of heavy duty Velcro or belt to keep the battery on the aluminium board. Something that keep it on the bike but where I...

Secret of panasonic hub climbing power

I think the main benefit of a cran drive is to be able to assist you at any speed. With xiondga it goes to 17mph max and that's it. It's good to go slow and for slopes... but for city riding it's not always the best when we have nice straight road where we could spin at 25mph on foot itself!

Yes looks much cleaner. I did the battery myself with us18650V3 cells. I've choosed them in the past because they were cheap and have good life cycle. I may buy ncr18650b if I can. The pack is a 9×14s = 126 cells and 1000 wh. Which is a decent contender from my other pack. :)

    72V20AH + 18Fet controller kit

Hello, I'm selling my previous battery and controller as it as getting too heavy for me. The battery was previously mounted on my bike like this: It's a massive battery pack, 72V20AH is 1440wh and it's about 3 times bigger than commercial batteries you buy for 500 buck. It's made of zippy...

Bike balance is not anymore that nice, but it's way cleaner and more discreet. Strongest point is that I can take it out to charge now! The previous battery and controller are now for sale.

I swapped my 160mm disc brake for a 180mm one, and I realised it was too big to fit. What's the best way to solve that? Get load of washers to increase the height?

TO ALL GORGEOUS MEN AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN

Thanks Hatti for organising this. It was really good to see you all. I finally tried the xiondga motor and the ezee! Aaah I wanted to try them for so long. I have to admit it was difficult to compare because for real comparison it would need a watt for watt appreciation. This isn't the case...

Carry a passenger on my bike

I thought about tandem and cargo bikes many times. Unfortunatly I live on the first floor of the tiny flat and there is no way I can put a long bike in. I can park it on the street, and that's what I plan to do on some bike, but it has to be a cheap <£100 bike

Carry a passenger on my bike

I start to have "expertise" in carrying passenger. I've been carrying variety of people (actually only lightweight females :p ) on my bike like this: It does work quite well and I don't have to pedal. The handling is quite good and comfort is decent. But they have their legs dangling and I...
