    Lights again

On my cycle home tonight from the pub via a bridleway, I came across someone coming the other way. Not sure who was more surprised, but he did say that I scared the crap out of him. :D Anyway, he had a set of lights that made my Fenix look like a dim candle. I Googled the make a moment ago, and...

    Winter riding

Never to be seen again! The offer of a full refund on the day that it was destined to go back to Spain, was too hard to resist. I don't generally get attached to things, but the bike did open my world up to e-bikes, and get under my skin. Despite all of the issues that I had with it, I'm going...

    Winter riding

I might well have a new set of 26" Schwalbe Ice Spiker tyres up for grabs complete with spare studs and fitting tool. I bought them to go onto the BH, but the BH has now gone for good, never to be seen again. They aren't going to fit the next bike.

My next project. Wood fired bread/pizza oven

I finished the outer dome off today, and now it's just the easy part of cutting and pitching the roof, and the tiling to complete. I took it up to 650°c and then measured the outer dome temperature, and there is zero heat loss. :) I've also already been asked to build another as paid job...

    Adding lights and mudguards

I'm not really fussed about the nyon aspect of the bike, but don't like the white of the non GPS e-Lycan. KTM's have to be orange and black. :)

    University E-Bike scheme

Contact Sussex University in Brighton. Apparently they have been conducting studies of e-bikes for many years now, and have sponsorships arrangements from a leading manufacturer. I believe that they approx 60 bikes, and if nothing else, they might be able to advise of your best way forward. If...

So I went to a trail centre...

Is it possible to both smile and feel sympathy. :) As usual another fantastic write up and photos. I need to hurry up and get down to Malpas to see my sister, and also to get out and have a play around your neck of the woods. :) Thanks also for the name of the beach. I'll have to venture along...

    Adding lights and mudguards

When it comes to mudguards, I have gone through countless variations of front mudguards before finding something that doesn't break with the first off. I'm not concerned about mud etc flinging up from behind the front wheel, but I'm not keen on having flung up into my face, and the Mucky Nutz...

The full copy of the following was removed because of copyright, but this one gives you an idea. And this one is my favourite at the moment. :)

    Strava Electric Bike Club

Same as that. I'm finding myself pulling down more and more rides, as every outing creates one or more KOM's. Taking this one ride from two weeks ago just as an example, all of those lads on the leader board deserve their place where they are. I also became fed up with so many rides being...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

The camera certainly stands a better chance of being fixed. ;)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Two photos from the recent Evans ride. The start of the ride, before the battery went dead. Towards the end of the ride with the then long dead battery.

    Bosch bearings

If someone can give the number, I have two sources that are worth trying, and will happily do so tomorrow.

Without searching back through the whole thread, can someone forward or post up the bearing number?

    Bosch bearings

You need to think yourselves lucky. The BH has got to go back to Spain to be repaired as BH UK aren't competent enough to do it! Impressed I'm not. :( Not for the first time, I am without use of the bike, and I'm sure that it will be far from the last time as well. I need to have a sell up and...

    E-MTB hire in Sussex

As the title. I need/want to hire an e-mtb for a number of weeks or possibly months, so any recommendations of who to go to for this service?

E-MTB's are now in the spotlight as well

Exactly my thoughts as well, and I've just expressed those thoughts to say that. For me if you exclude bikes such as the Stealth Bomber, and bikes with throttles and or tuning devices, then e-mtb's and pedal mtb's both have their place in public off road spaces. They are just different. The...
