Feedback on the Woosh Sant-ana CD

A friend is interested in the Woosh Sant-Ana CD, I've searched the forum but can't find any posts on the bike. Currently he rides a Cyclamatic Folder, but is having trouble with the more lively nature of the small wheels and believes some bigger wheels will improve his stability on the bike...

    What's the best car battery?

I need a new battery for my car, are there any that last as long as OE batteries, I've had two vehicles where the original battery has lasted 11 years, but I've never had a replacement last more than about 5 years. Bosch, Varta, Exide, I presume they're all about the same?

    Measuring Bosch battery voltage

I can read the voltage of my car battery on my multimeter no trouble. When I try to read the voltage on the Bosch battery I can't get a reading with any of the outer 4 terminals. The battery has 5 terminals, only the centre one is in use when on the charger. Do I need to be connecting the two...

    Insurance

I've just tried to add my new KTM to my house insurance policy with the Co-operative and been told they don't insure electric bikes, and I've got 10 months to go until renewal time. How do you get on with your insurance?

If I had a pound for

I wish I could have a pound every time I speak to someone about my electric bike when they say "Does it recharge the battery when you go downhill?" everyone I've met on the bike has said that to me.

    Looking for Bosch bike reviews

I've been looking to find a few reviews on the Bosch crank drive in action, I've come across a few here and there, but there doesn't seem to be much on here about them. I'm also not finding many places in the UK that seem to be selling them? for sure I could just be looking in the wrong...

What's the difference between 230v circuit breakers and 12v ones

I want to connect a couple of circuit breakers on the leads from my 12 volt leisure battery, could I use 230 volt ones? is there a difference as I see that the 12 volt ones seem to be about 7 or 8 times the price of 230 volt ones. thanks :o

What size invertor do I need?

I have ended up with a 230 volt TV for my Campervan, rated power consumption is 45 watts, so I'm looking at a 150 watt pure sine wave inverter. For short periods of use with a 110ah battery with support from a 60 watt solar panel. Now the real question is will this be enough for my ebike...

    Cyclamatic foldaway

While I wait to decide on a kit for my Dahon I thought I'd try a cheap electric bike. So I ordered a Cyclamtic Foldaway yesterday, I know Jerry was keen to see a review so I'll try my best to oblige :) It arrived this morning. First impression was from the weight of the box which was heavy...

    Crank drive system

I have no idea if this idea has been tried or is even in production. The chainring and smaller inner motor drive are fixed to each other on a crank that uses a freewheel pawl system like a rear cassette. also the drive sprocket on the motor has a freewheel system too. So you can have electric...

The best way to go about powering my Dahon?

I've bought a bike, now I need to convert it to an e-bike. It has alloy forks with a 75mm spacing, a Crystalyte will go straight in, but as a direct drive I believe these are at their best at speed on the flat, I want something that will help me up hills at a slow pace. I'm guessing an 80mm...
