I did 6 reps with him as the dark and rain came in to distract him a bit, my battery was done when I left him with just 4 reps to do. As you say bloody impressive, and that's his second Everesting challenge this year.
How high can you go on a single charge? that's a how long is a piece of string question to me. So you give an answer, then guessing the OP uses your answer to estimate how far he and his bike might go, seems rather vague to me.
Good road tyres, mudguards, a rack if you carry things. perhaps higher gearing, perhaps removing the speed limiter, do it on tour, and just fully charge the battery every day.

I used to make all my rides private shortly after sharing them. When the e-bike catergory was introduced I asked Strava support to change all my private rides to e-bike and make them public. It's...
When you upload your ride in the drop down activity box choose e-bike ride rather than ride, then it will be correctly listed and won't trigger the normal ride segments ;) :)
If you look at my Strava you'll see nearly all my cycling is e-bike, and the cycling totals still work.
I have no idea how these virtual rides work, but watch out for them pinching your KOM's from the comfort of their home.

I honestly don't know, only you will really know, and that preference you initially make could change over time.
My bike also goes very nicely with a low input from me when my illness stops me walking anywhere.
Correct, mine gives more assistance at lower cadences, when I'm really going for it I have to change to a higher gear for more assistance with a cadence that is below what is ideal for me.
