Yeah I do mean it that way, the other bike would be a bmx therefore a 26" hub wheel wouldn't fit.

Hi, Thought I would start a new thread for this. I am torn between getting a rear hub motor and a mid bafang motor. Both would most likely be the legal 250w. (I'm not too worried about being pulled by the cops but would be more concerned about having an accident and getting done that way)...

So do you think I'm better off just going for the cheaper rear hub option over the mid drive?

how fast is it? was thinking of getting the same kit, was it £361?

Any experience of mid motors?

is it a bafang or something else? whats it like up hills? thanks

will the bafang 250w 36v do more than the 15.5mph?

I am going to be using this on the road so do I need to stick to the 250w?

I rode the scott e sub today and tbh, I was under whelmed, which I'm glad about, because if I had liked it I'd of had to shell out £1299!

with the smaller battery, does that just decrease my range?

yep very long, if I had my dads torso length I would be 6'3"

well that would work out to roughly half the price including new wheels, right shifter and shimano disc brakes with rotors. The bafang can be transplanted to other bikes aswell if I want to, I could even fit it to a bmx for a bit of fun. Was thinking of this battery:-...

So I sold the Crossfire and ended up with £50 more than I paid after ebay took their sizable chunk, but the amount of time I spent cleaning it and the agro wasn't worth the £50. I'm either going to buy a Scott E sub which is on sale atm, or convert my trusty GT bike which seems to be a perfect...
