Got a Connex one from eBay, supplier was in Germany.

I've got the same bike, done about 2500 miles. Now on my 3rd chain, have had 2 snap. Last time also changed front sprocket as suffered with chain suck. To be fair i didn't clean the chain/gears as often as I should have but this bike does seem to have an appetite for chains.

I did 1510 miles in 8 months on my KTM & the chain snapped. Shop told me this was about right with off-road use. Doesn't seem much to me.

thanks for replies, managed to find somebody yesterday who cut me a key. Had to do a bit of fine tuning with a file to get the key to work but I have a spare now.

I unfortunately lost a bunch of keys including the key for the Bosch battery lock on my KTM Macina. I have still got the spare & have tried to get another one cut. So far none of my local key cutting places have been able to help. Has anyone else managed to get another key cut?

Had the same issue with punctures on my KTM, have got some Rocket Rob tyres & been OK so far.

just a quick update if anyones interested. Had the Rapid Rob tyres on for a month & just under 300 miles. No punctures! fingers crossed it stays that way :)

I have one as well, works perfectly for me. I usually remove the battery when on the stand.

what a sorry story, first the pain of your bike being nicked & then the inaction of the police & not seeing security video. Out of interest, what did you replace bike with, same again?

That's what I thought. Yes, a little odd to have sex with your bike but in the privacy of his own room this should never have gone to court.

agreed, similar situation here in Bristol. Cumberland Road is fairly narrow & a tight squeeze for 2 cars to pass with parked cars. There is a dedicated cycle lane on the wide pavement but many cyclists insist on cycling on the road causing the issues you describe. Grrr!

Have had mine since Feb & love it. Top notch components & a great ride, copes well on the hills. No hesitation in recommending.
