    Riverside 500e

I have the same bike. Not had any problems so far (touch wood) I’m sure that the torque sensor would be covered by warranty if damaged through wear and tear. Best speak with decathlon to be sure.

GPS Tracker for £2 a month

Well as my pal David used to say “you buy cheap, you buy twice” unit is useless. Tried a couple of different SIM cards to no avail.. sent back for refund, and now I’m looking at the another option. The o2 sim that I bought for 20p will go in my GSM home alarm system that’s been working without...

GPS Tracker for £2 a month

Hi! Yes an alarm with transmitter would be perfect! The only solution that I have come across is gps trackers that have built in vibration alarm. This would send you a text message if the bike was moved. There are a few on Amazon and eBay but I haven’t tried any of these. Quick update though...

GPS Tracker for £2 a month

I agree, my bike is secured with two gold class d locks, plus I have a cable that goes through the front wheel. I have an alarm fitted and detach the battery when leaving the bike for longer than a “cafe stop” I have another lock at work which is a heavy kryptonite chain lock that is left there...

GPS Tracker for £2 a month

I still think the Vodafone option is good. And at £2 a month to protect a bike costing upwards of £1000 then its a no brainer. There must be a way to hide it in the battery box and have a 5volt tap for the usb charge port on the tracker!

GPS Tracker for £2 a month

I notice Amazon have gps trackers disguised as rear lights. Plus there are trackers available that fit into seat post, although they are expensive! I did look at the Vodafone one, £2 a month is nothing! And it looks small enough to hide in a battery box or under seat. I have my alarm under seat...

    Very thin chain, voodoo bizango

Halfords have said he can bring it in on Saturday and have the chain replaced, apparently they said nothing about being careful on this type of bike with mid mount motor, which i find pretty poor!!

    Very thin chain, voodoo bizango

My mate bought a voodoo bizango this evening, on his way to mine the chain snapped! On inspection the chain is very thin metal, also it looked to be bending towards the rear wheel. Bought from Halfords, images attached.

    Convert to manual bike?

would it be worth stripping it of electrical components, including hub wheel, selling the parts off to pay for new wheel and rebuilding the bike? Perhaps you could sell that too with the cash raised going towards a new bike!
