    Growbags or pots

Used to grow my own tomatoes etc as a hobby. Nice, but can't be bothered now. The guy down the road has 3 commercial greenhouses and grows all sorts. He charges me 40p for a great big bag of tomatoes, can't go wrong. He's in his late 70's though so not sure how long this will continue.

Brand new Bosch Intuvia - Complete

That was great advise from mac user. I sold my nyon in favour of purion having the white screen of death and a reset would not fix it. It went back to shop and i was without it for a week. It's a nice bit of kit, but too fragile for my mtb,and sometimes glitchy. I've also heard that Bosch may...

    More ebike woes

I've lost total faith in my local bike shops. Now use a local lad, one man band working from van and does a lot of support for local bike clubs / races. He's not perfect, but i'ma bit anal and prefer to do work myself where possible.

HPC Typhoon 2.0-6.0. Testing different power levels up hill

Nice, but i still like to pedal. Even on 6000, it would never get me up that hill with all the beer i carry!

    Fully automatic system

After having both Campy super record eps and Shimano di2, i would not have electronic gears again. Both systems let me down badly, especially Campy. The tech is there, but not the reliability. I don't care about what retailers / marketing tells you, stick with manual at present. Both systems...

    Haibike... Bosch or Yamaha?

Great advise here, but try and ride both as one may suit your style of riding better.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I found streaming 4k a pain, especially with 3 kids in house on on internet grrr. Just spent £600 on an hdmi switch which will pass through 4k, not many will do this. I wasted money, as this won't be compatible with 8k, or 16k. Can't keep up with it. I've decided not to upgrade any further and...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

hmmm. I think for the money it's fine. Go pros have issues in dark as well due to lense aperture etc. I've found that 1080p /60 frames gives the best compromise. Don't get hung up on 4k as most devices don't output in 4k including go pros and about 99% of tv's. 4K as i'm sure your aware is...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Let me know how you get on with it. I currently have a go pro session (not 4k) and before this a go pro 4 black. Not bothered on 4k, due to lag and session was cheap and cheerful with half decent battery. The 4k suffers from lower battery drain. This camera looks like a good copy of the...

    ASA ebike dongles

Agree, this forum works really well and i'm a newby compared to others here. Keeping it light where possible, improves and promotes this forum. I respect others not approving of dongles, but most of us are grown up enough and responsible enough to accept our own actions and behave reasonably...

    ASA ebike dongles

Another nice dongle. i narrowed it down to 3 i.e. the pear tube, asa and bikespeed rs. The site mentioned that sells the asa and pearline just want your money with little or no feedback from them in my experience. this was very different when i contacted bikespeed rs, good advise and feedback.

Giant E-Road +1 The Ride Home

Totally agree, all bikes have pros and cons. I just think it's a lovely bike and Giant need to remember those who bought this bike last year or this, may well want to upgrade parts from the 2017 model, so backward compatibility is important where they can. Ive had 8 bikes in the last 5 years...

Giant E-Road +1 The Ride Home

I'd be really tempted by this bike as one of the better looking road bikes, sadly a few things put me off and this is only, imho.. Giant have tried to make the bike bespoke, meaning not easy to fit a speed dongle, if at all. Display could have been interchangeable but appears you can't even...
