    Advice - New To E-Bikes

Took it for a good spin round the city and down through some canels down through birmingham. Have to get used to riding on the roads again without having a big engine underneath me. Only grip really is that it would be nice if the speed was higher before it stops assisting really. Only reason...

    Slipping chain

On motorbikes a rule of thum was always - replace sprockets and chain as a set - never on their own - as doing so would wear them out much much more quickly. Surely the same logic applies here.

    Advice - New To E-Bikes

I started the build on the night after dinner about 9:00 wrapped up about half 11 then spent another hour trying to take a pic and test it on the road. I think the point being i looked at the kit first then brought a bike round the kit to ensure all the parts would fit. So this probably has...

    Conversion Kits: Pros and Cons

To me, the kit will be a stepping stone to getting a more powerful motor, battery controller but i'm happy to use a pre spec'd kit as a starter guide. The above with finding out where all the ancillieries can be brought would be useful.

Buying at a Dealer vs. Buying Online

I'm with the above and have the same ethos with most things. An sometimes i actually prefer having a project to spend my time on. However i can see why people just buy kits and ready made assembled bikes. But i love knowing how things work. Some people have this and just want to get to a to b...

    Advice - New To E-Bikes

Yeah i can understand that. I.e when going up a hill would prove to be difficult while pedaling and twisting throttle. What does bb stand for sorry? Again terminology i'm unsure of. Still as long as the kit would help me out every now and then down when i got to hills or was to fatigued. I...
