    Brexit, for once some facts.

After yesterday's humiliation for the UKIP leader in Stoke on Trent, I think those people who called for another referendum might have some justification now. I can't remember which UK constituency voted most heavily for 'Brexit' last June but the Stoke on Trent one must be up there among the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Two things happened on the political front yesterday: The first notable point is that the electorate in Copeland voted in an understandably protectionist manner by rejecting the Labour Party candidate on account of Labour's lack of support for the nuclear industry. The second significant event...

'Vox Political' draws attention to a problem we have known about for some time but which has been largely ignored by those in parliament, bent on a headlong rush towards 'Brexit"...

Although I'm a supporter of the socialist Labour Party, I am very uncomfortable with the presence of Tom Watson as Deputy Leader - I trust him about as much as I trust the Arsenal's defence to keep a clean sheet! This piece of news, (available elsewhere), from 'The Canary' makes very disturbing...

Only 15 words in that but it is very true and a telling indictment of why we are where we are today after thousands of years of evolution. I am not very religious but it strikes me that so many of the problems around the world have been inherited rather like the 'sins of the father' syndrome...

The word is 'sceptical' unless you are American? Regardless, thank you for your opinion of my view. That aside, you appear to accept that 'Brexit' is a foregone conclusion whereas I still hope good sense will prevail between now and then, so I don't wish to speculate as to any immigration...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The UK has an excellent, historic record of according a friendly welcome to immigrants from a whole range of countries beyond the EU. To some extent, that continues to be the case, even now, although we have failed miserably to address the recent migrant crisis, resulting from the wars we...

I have no idea what that paragraph means. For example, you mention communism - where does that come from? You also mention the Express but I don't understand what it is you expect from the readers of that rag. It isn't something I read. As for the the opposite camp, they deserve the contempt...

There are many advantages to both individuals and businesses through membership of the EU which may or may not apply to other foreign nationals or their states. If you view 'Brexit' as an opportunity to withhold all those advantages achieved since 1973, what do you hope to achieve by that...

I get the feeling you are doing much more than simply pointing out anything. It comes across to me as a desire to be rid of migrants from other nations in the UK. That notion comes across to me frequently in your posts. Tom

The accompanying article is not from the best news source but it does report correctly in this instance. Marine Le Pen pulled a stunt in Beiruit which, last time I checked, isn't in France. Now, had a Lebanese delegation been invited to France, I would expect that Le Pen would be free to...

Those measures already exist and in recent times have been applied extremely harshly, resulting in a number of deaths directly attributable to the imposition of those measures and punitive sanctions. The UK government treats the nastiest criminals in society better than those in need of state...

Is that what you actually want? You would like to see the migrants in the UK forced to leave by treating them worse than other human beings. What comes after that? Will it then be the turn of British passport holders who are out of work to be deported to Australia or somewhere?......or...
