seems these new foam kits are a mix of foam and rubber why it wont soak thru the outer layer also the cone is painted gray as it is green under it like the outer edge so loads of iso dont help. got 2 new rings and some black glue on way so 3rd time lucky as this white shite just wont dry like...

well cash is there for a new driver after Christmas as not risking 350 plus vat on a recone kit and i bet they glued the 2 halfs together anyway cos it wont move at all :rolleyes:

if you put iso on the foam it just dissolves so the glue cant have any alcohols in it or it will melt

thought the black stuff was for rubber surrounds but on sale with foam ones so will grab a tube of that when the next 2 show up.

got 2 more on order and will only glue on to the back so wont look like a mess but whatever that glue was they used iso did not do much to remove it even with a razor blade if i go at it any harder ill destroy the cone edge...

the white stuff should dry clear but it is bloody cold so might take a few days as that 1st one is still sticky :rolleyes: had to use the iso to get the black glue off fkn mission and still not got it all off but will have to do for now as long as it keeps it going. prob have to get a...

no its iso to get all the glue off as its more like plastic than card paper but will leave it a few days now b4 i glue down the outside.

it will all be apple crap soon unfixable renewable rubbish o_O
