it is just a different spec controller with more amps but you can use 3rd party controllers like a phase runner if you want more power

giant use the yamaha motors but they use there own controllers batts and displays and screw customers out of warranty with well over priced replacements and as giant use can bus you are locked in to there motors and controllers only as you can get the uart Yamaha controllers but not compatible...

taking the batt out is easy if you have a full ifix it kit and a heat gun razor blades tweezers and a microscope and not lose any screws or put one in a wrong hole as all different sizes brake anything or set the old batt on fire taking it out cos the tape snapped or just get a iphone and in 12...
