if you send to many amps to the motor winding and it cant cope with it that turns in to heat if you keep going the motor core will over heat and be de magnetised and kill it or also burn up the motor windings.

depends what diy kit and bike you want to fit it 2 a bbs hd will have a 30a controller a bosch bike will have a 20a locked controller and need a dongle to remove the speed limit

yes the difference between just changing the settings in a controller is not the same as a dongle as you can set the amps higher ect a dongle on a bosch bike only removes the speed limit and the controller is 20a even if i shunt mod the controller for more amps it is pointless as id have to do...

the most expensive part is the batt and when they sell kits that cheap you have no idea what cells are used in the batts and if cheap chine knock off cells they work for about 3 months then get massive voltage sag so the bike cuts power...

she is 74 and saddle low as it can go the trike is about 26 is kg and max load says 200kg but the basket is held together with plastic clips. cant balance any more so that or mobility scooter.

all the just eat riders ect use rear hubs at about 1000w as that gets you over 30mph with a throttle i can add 500w from my legs and add 800w from my motor. a rear hub will push you along a front one will drag you forward so need steal forks for the drop outs. tho m8s bafang on throttle only...
