    Winter gloves

Well, I bought a pair of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HCOP2S2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Think they will do the job very well. A bit bulky, but once you get used to them, they work wonders. Not had close to freezing temps yet, but in freezing cold wind and...

    Winter gloves

Sort of makes sense...I borrowed a pair of ski gloves that felt really bulky, thought they would more than do the job...they didn’t...my fingers were still cold...but the gloves were quite tight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Winter gloves

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions, plenty to look into. I guess the biggest problem is we all have different levels of cold we cope with. I like the idea of the electric heated ones, but they’re a bit pricey if they don’t work for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Winter gloves

Well, it’s that time of year again... I have tried wearing the same gloves as I did through last winter, and my fingers are already dropping off! I’ve tried some little hotties hand warmers inside my gloves....they almost burn the back of my hands, but the heat doesn’t get to my fingers. Fed...

    Overtaking men on road bikes!

Quite regularly.... The last lycra clad loon almost gave himself a heart attack trying to power his way past me up a steady incline after I had floated past him a few minuted before. Seeing him puffing and panting in my mirror just encouraged me to pull out my ecig, ready for his...

    Oxygen v Ophelia!

Yes...very windy homeward tonight on my oxygen, but battered my way through it. 18 mike trip took about 10 minutes longer than usual from Manchester to Warrington. Haven’t really got a shortcut. Although the wind was very strong and gusty, I felt well in control. Side winds were the worst...

    Cyclotricity Stealth Owners thread.

The route I used the stealth on was pretty flat, but I did take it up a few moderate slopes, and it did struggle a bit. I think its more designed for higher top end than torque. I have moved since then, my route is again fairly flat, but with a few longish slopes which the oxygen happily cruises...

    Cyclotricity Stealth Owners thread.

Oxygen all the way. If you look at my previous posts, you’ll see why. I’ve had both bikes and currently do 19 miles each way on the oxygen and it’s been brilliant almost 2000 miles in. In that time with the stealth, it probably spent a month off road for repairs. You can get higher speed from...

    Warrington commuter

I think the speed of that video makes things look a bit worse than they actually were. There's always something to be wary of though. I've definitely got more savvy now ....I always allow for idiots to do what they shouldn't.... Yes...the bridgewater towpath...it worked well for me from lymm...

    Warrington commuter

No problem ;) Yes, when I moved to Warrington a couple of months ago, I first did the A56, and to be honest, I really dont like that route. I covered part of it when I lived on Lymm, and hated it then. Really is a hotbed for idiots in cars, and offers little protection for cyclists. The A57...

Hi Dorab I do the trip daily from Warrington to Manchester...it's a really nice run. Takes just over an hour on my oxygen. Sent from my Moto E (4) using Tapatalk
