Is it possible to convert a ladies Dutch bike to electric

Yes. With a superior torque sensor mid-drive! It is sometimes called a Wicked Witch Princess eBike when set-up this way. Princess is for the Pashley Princess from Stafford upon Avon. Wicked Witch is from the Wizard of Oz. Right click the image if you want to search for more similar images. The...

BAFANG BBS01B DON'T FIT SPECIALIZED MTB COMP HT 2012 29"

The bafang does not have a secondary motor mount. So these little guys would take 100% of the torque. In my opinion kids at trade school welding shop for school credit or old farmer if you buy some eggs can place an insert in the BB and secure it all of the way through, whilst milling the ends...

    Intermittent PAS problem on BBS01B

What is the gap between the magnets and pick-up? Is that properly aligned? I have found that to be the first and most simple cause to check. One guy installed the disc backwards another had some magnets with reversed polarity.

My First Electric Kit Conversion 250W

The Tongsheng is great. I just saw your update when I hit post. In my opinion you the Raleigh 20's wheels are too small. Something like a Pashly would be cool and take the bumps. 28" wheels would be ideal with a steel frame.

My First Electric Kit Conversion 250W

In my opinion a hub motor will not be satisfactory. My neighbor had a 350W geared hub conversion for two-days and made me remove it and install a mid-drive. Bikes with only a cadence sensor lag, surge and lurch. A 350W mid-drive will out climb a 750W hub drive here in the North Bay Mountains of...

    TSDZ2 not assisting from pedals

The TSDZ2 comes in two basic flavors, Freewheel and Coaster Brake. Is one of the bikes perchance a Coaster brake bike? If so, these motors cannot be swapped. Also if there is any pressure on the pedals, positive or negative, at start up on a Coaster Brake version you will not be given power by...

    Performance and Feel, Speed Sensor

Here is that bike. See image. The other bike (see image) has a "water bottle" battery that weighs 3.05 lbs and fits into a standard cage. Look for the wire. Thanks for the responses.

    Paintwork protection ?

I use spray on/wipe off car wax as I dry a bike after washing. It leaves a protective film and is quick and easy. I wash bikes outside in a portable bike stand using a spray bottle with some laundry soap and shampoo with water and a touch of fabric softener. I then rinse using a yard sprayer...

    Performance and Feel, Speed Sensor

Hi, I am Rick from Northern California. I am a bike mechanic and adore E-bikes. I would like to discuss performance and feel. I currently own four TSDZ2 bikes and have made twenty. I enjoy the natural feel of the torque sensor on the TSDZ2 and the smaller weight than the Bafang motors. With...

TSDZ2 - Is the speed sensor needed?

I have been riding my coaster brake three speed without a speed sensor for about one year. It has been great! Today I put on a speed sensor just to try it. The bike's fun was ruined. I had it off again within ten minutes. Now the fun has been restored. With loads of torque off the line. Next I...
