Not sure the Supermarkets over here would be to happy if I rode one of those inside their shop.

Pedelec Accident Data - slowly coming online

This means that 90% of the cyclists killed in traffic accident were on ordinary cycles. Ergo pedelecs are 90% safer than non-powered cycles.

A2B or A2B like bike with Assisted pedalling and Throttle?

I have serious health issues as well which mean that some bikes just do not have enough power for my lungs. I use a Mountain Sport from LifeCycle which has peddle assist and throttle and still gives me some exercise.

    HEAD PROTECTION

Luckily I don't need that, at 22st believe me cars steer well clear, don't want to risk me landing on them and flattening their nice shiny box.

    E-Bike/Wheelchair Conversion.

I have been toying with a similar idea for putting a 48v Li-on battery in a mobility scooter to improve the speed (purely for use on private restricted land of course) and range but am not sure what else would be needed.

tuning my bike for more speed

I had/still have a Bosch Haibike, a " nicely-geared, lightweight road bike", which I really struggled to use. The only bikes I have found with the power to shift my fat lardy backside without the remains of my lungs giving up have been the "over powered" ones. My latest comes with a derestricted...

    So I bought one...

I find it strange that someone can know exactly how a bike I own performs without even knowing me let alone the bike. Perhaps you can perform your magic on my Land Rover as well and tell me what is wrong with that.

    So I bought one...

And I am perfectly entitled to my opinion that my other bikes have more power, which opinion I am entitled to express without expecting insults from others.

    So I bought one...

Neither, merely a disabled electric bike rider who is stating what he has found without insulting others. Having only 10% of my lungs left and severe osteoarthritis means I cannot exercise much and so I am over weight. I found that the Bosch bike did not have the power that I needed compared to...

    So I bought one...

This always makes me laugh as the Bosch Trekking Haibke I bought had nowhere near the power of my Alien Aurora. In fact the Bosch bike has died and the Alien still goes on.

    Stick Carrier

Received the straps yesterday and they are perfect, but, if anyone else is thinking of using these do as did and get 2 pairs. They are OK for a narrow frame and pump but for something like a sturdy frame and walking stick you need to join 2 together then they are excellent.
