Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I have a system that relies on family secrets. I leave a secret letter at a secret location in case something happens to me like trump's secret service agents knocking on my door. You need to solve the clues in the letter to gain my secret URL and credentials. Once you open my digital vault...

I didn’t lose but neither won anything substantial. I was tempted to play along though. Trump has permanent immunity, he doesn't hide anything. Tempted by Barrick though.

All the US indexes dropped when Trump releases chaos then rose again when Trump pulls back. I bought a fair bit on NASDAQ because I like tech stocks. Until end of Feb, everything was fine. Then Trump has 'liberation day' . NASDAQ tanked from 20,000 to 15,000 (08-Apr), now back to 19,000. If you...

Is your Inverter connected to the Internet? If it is, then there should be somewhere in the management screen where you can allow or block web access aka external management login.

Trump creates chaos again. He said the US is going to send out 150 letters telling other countries what they have to pay to trade with the USA. My guess the S&P is going to tank again. Opportunity for insiders to make money when Trump pulls back.

Large installations have airgap security. Even on system without airgap, you still need to cross the firewall before you can login. Some people can't resist the urge of making hay with Chinese backdoors. The USA ban TPLINK for example. The Reuter article mentioned two guys working in the...

We all take precautions but at the end of the day, we'll all have to balance fear against ease of use. Manufacturers don't necessarily create backdoors in their products but how many genuinely close all the backdoors that they know of. One of the products I fear the most is those public VPNs...

No need for any backdoor. Typical wifi passwords less than 10 character long can be cracked in 10 minutes or less with a laptop. I use 25 character wifi passwords and QR code to save it onto a piece of paper.

What good job? Do you mean him reducing tariffs on Chinese goods? Give it another week or two, the shelves at Walmart will be empty, the price will go up 30%. Trump is heading for defeat next year mid term election then third impeachment.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There is no contradiction. You just don't realise how big the portion of trade that relied on the 4 freedoms that EU member states have like building work, music festivals, stock market, bank loans, insurance, reselling goods that came from outside the EU. We don't have that kind of trade with...

They only transit in France, like Spain, Italy or Belarus. Their destination is the UK. For many years, like you, I didn't get it why they don't choose Germany where life would be definitely good if not better. Then I understood that they choose the UK because they speak enough English to get by...

Disabled cyclist; with one bad choice behind her, needs help with a new bike

I still have the Gospade somewhere in my warehouse but we haven't continued with that project. The Tongsheng TSDZ8 is probably the nicest crank drive kit we have now, also, the Tongsheng 85TS is a rear hub, very lightweight, excellent kit that is easiest to fit too...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Humour is fine, and albeit we are not neighbours on the opinion spectrum, I like your contribution. This thread has nearly 111,000 posts, a lot of people have contributed to it over the years and possibly one of the best in this forum on an important subject that matters to all of us. By and...

I didn't change a thing. Panels have different chemistries. That means that the panels you have at your house may contain some but most certainly not all of them greater than just traces. I reckon you know that already but are just bored so just wind me up for a laugh. Still, I bet you can't get...

It's not full of toxins! The harmful materials are not in organic compounds. If you spent 7 years at university to study chemistry like I have done, you'll see solar panels as benign rather than dangerous.
