As said if you read Billyboya'a thread fully one will see the battery was pants. Most of the sellers can't even list them correctly when posting the Ah capacity, batteries claiming 20k ah or in some cases up to 5x more capacity . Such a seller can't be trusted, let alone the stupid prices...

The 6 mosfets KT's will run cooler on ascent's if one can keep the riding speed up. It all depends on one's cadence application, with me my cadence is too low so they got too hot.

We highly recommend KT controllers and KT LCD's , one has to buy the KT LCD to be compatible . It doesn't matter which KT LCD (there are about 12) as they are all compatible , just don't buy the basic LCD1 or LCD2. I only use KT as they use the nice current control which allows the user better...

As above once the lock barrel is removed keys can be cut to suit the tumbler posiitons, I cut keys to any barrel once said barrel is in my hands. A local locksmith's will do the job if you want the battery to be secured better.

Not many controllers will have a light /brake light connector so one is going to have to settle for something elese or try and get a controller from the bike supplier ( which is highly unlikely). The system is OEM only as most are so getting hold of an exact controller is doubtful.

Without pics we have no idea of the controller used. Tbh with most of these bikes if able to buy a new controller from the seller it would most undoubtedly be cheaper to simply ditch the elcetronics and up grade (for a cheaper cost) to a KT brand system, the KT brand are the go to option as...

Just goes to show Halfords have no knowledge, wasn't there another user recently who posted much the same. They were told their hub motor was the cause. I have used hubs for ten odd years and so not as long as you d8veh and have not yet had one fail me.

Wisper bikes don't have ball ends , if you look they have std type levers with the very end of the lever like most having a 15/20 degree angle or so as typical with 2 finger /3 finger brake levers.

Magura sell replacement baal end blades/levers for MT3 /5 brakes but they are £24 - £50 just for each blade.

Bottom brackets use torque sensing not Cadence.

One reason to fit a KT to hub bikes , run on is zero effect with the fast acting PAS stop. I would though recommend one to be fitted if a speed switch device is used.

One has wasted £80 0n Brainpower set up , £80 which would have goty one a far superior KT controller and KT lcd.
