Hi just tried cleaning it but again nothing worked, I don’t like the way they don’t show error codes, I’m starting to think that I need to take it to a bike shop and see if they can tell me what’s wrong, saves buying a new motor and maybe it’s not that, I’m also thinking of taking the motor off...

I’ve put that into my watch list now as that’s cheaper than the ones I’ve seen, once im home ill clean the connections and try and see if I can find how to reagline the connections. Thanks mate for the advice, I hope this works!

I’ll go have a measure now, I don’t know why but I didn’t even think of water ingress in the crack , Update The gap can fit 2 pound coins in but moves the spike a little so around 5mm, idk if this is too short or not. Cheers

Yeah, I think it is broke because I find when I turn on the bike the mileage instantly flashes, I’ve read that the controller sort of like checks everything is working before turning on, this is what causes the mileage to flash instantly. Thanks for your reply, cheers

Yeah I will, I do hope it is just this sensor as on my electric Carrera I had, the sensor looked brand new and didn’t have anything visually wrong, I bought a new one and just popped it in and it was working perfectly fine, this is what I’m hoping for this, cheers

I tried moving a magnet past that area and the speed still didn’t change on the display, I have ordered a new one and I am really hoping this fixes the issue! Thanks for the reply Chris
