New to e-bikes, considering Brompton conversion.

It was a time when I considered using kt controllers for all my kits. We had a lot of support cases involving water ingress in KM JLCD, in bafang BBS01, controllers on the TCM crank drive kits overheating etc etc. I still have a box full of KT LCDs somewhere in my stock. I knew that...

You can set the number of assist level and percentage of power for each assist level in my Brompton kit (lishui +kd58c lcd). So it is pretty flexible. I switched to current control on the bikes last year. The Tongsheng controller that I intend to use on the rear hub Brompton kit is a TS model...

We don't sell them but you can buy them on aliexpress or amazon. You can also fit your old KT controllers and lcd to most hub kits, including those sold by woosh at the moment.

You read the threads on here, members regularly ask questions about how to set up their KT controllers, no other brand creates as much support questions. My job is to return an operating profit for Woosh, I can't do that if I have to pay extra to use KT controllers. I know some members love...

Why have you excluded other controllers? I intend to use a tongsheng controller if my rear hub conversion is good and easy to install.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Iran launched more than 300 drones and missiles 1500 miles away. The number and range clearly shows how foolish Netanyahu is to start a new front.

I have not thought of making a rear hub kit for the Brompton until now. It's your thread that made me think about doing this. I will convert my Brompton with the DWG2NC rear hub in the next week before getting back to you with proper answers.

possibnle but I can't see Iran hitting back at Israel in a big way anytime soon. Netanyahu will eventually be forced out, Spain will recognise the state of Palestine in a few months, most EU countries will follow suite, Charles Michel, the President of the EU Council has said something along...

    The DWG2NC kit uses regular cassettes, the smallest cog is 11T. On standard 3-speed Brompton, 50T chainring gives 1.32m * 50T/ 11T * 80RPM * 60 seconds in a minute = 28.8km/h If you could fit a derailleur then it's possible. A kit with DWG2NC with 36V 15AH bag battery about £500.

not that I know of. You have the hub gears at the rear wheel. It's possible to replace the rear wheel with a hub motor like my DWG2NC but you would lose the gears, reducing what we call gear inches by about 25%-35%, imagine you are pedalling with the gear stuck in gear 1. Front hub kits are the...

Can anyone help me adding a throttle to a carrera crossfire e bike please

you need pretty good soldering skills and understanding of electronics to do this. Basically, you unplug the cable between the pedal / torque sensor and the controller, add an arduino kit in series between the sensor and the controller. The arduino receives the power from the controller and...

due to your weight, hill climbing requirement and range, I would suggest the Gran Camino. It's comfortable on long rides with its larger tyres and longer fork travel compared to road bikes, more powerful motor and excellent brakes too. https://wooshbikes.co.uk/gran-camino
