well you are going to rob a bmw over a skoda but if they target you not much you can do bar insurance you can get a blank fire pistol but out and about would be more hassle than its worth as swat team will be called and have a load of machine guns pointed at you.

it depends how much the bike costs say a bike was 1k new stolen it will be £100-200 as will want rid of it asap. if you get it insured then you wont have to worry about it or get a section one firearms license and buy a hand gun but you will imo get a even worse sentence if you did that lol.

yes but you will have to pay a monthley fee with most and if the bike is put in the back of a metal van it could stop it from working. the most expensive part on most ebikes is the batts so remove that and it most likely not be worth there effort.

yes but remember these days most will carry a knife and it is not worth ur life for any ebike. get it insured if it dont cost to much.

making the frame look naff wont mean anything if they want to nick it as will either respray it anyway or throw it in the canal and sell the parts. all you can do is make it as hard as possible with 3 locks for the 2 wheels and frame.

a light front and rear might help out more than paint but if there are no road lights you will need a powerful one and there not cheap.

well if it just on the flat then that will be ok but off road it will be a different story esp over jumps a hub motor will just snap all the spokes. also a mid drive is better for climbing hills and you can add power in a lower mode to get more range from the batt...

well on my bike with no hills i can blast around going well over 30mph with a 500w batt and a bosch cx motor and i get around 25 miles in range tho at times there is 400w coming from my legs but i use a dongle to remove the speed limit. so if you you use lower power modes you wont go as fast...

if you gave me a ebike when i was 14 and said it cuts out at 15mph it would have been dumped in the shed never to be seen again. some kids round here have skateboards scooters one wheels ect that can go 25-30mph so thats what they all want these days while on the bloody phone not looking where...
